Pyle Compact Battery-Operated Megaphone with Siren - 30W Power, Microphone, 2 Modes, PA Sound, Bullhorn, 1200 Yards Range, Foldable Handle for Cheerleading, Police Use

Good for what I needed it for.. annoying my family

THIS IS AWESOME!! It's loud and has a slider for volume settings. It has a police siren on it too, which my friend actually played out the window while I was driving and I think we accidentally pulled someone over (needless to say, this is illegal to do and we have not made that mistake since!). I bought this device originally for recruitment events with my sorority; on a big campus you need to be LOUD. Now, is this the loudest megaphone on the market? NO. If you are trying to speak to hundreds of people, well, I would question how well you could be heard. However, if you're in a crowded area trying to advertise a product or organization, or run some sort of game, this will probably do the job! Even so, the siren and musical tune settings will help you run a game as well, as they are LOUD. All in all, for about $11, this is a pretty sturdy, very useful device. I think the quality surpasses the price paid. One issue I had though was trying to find the proper batteries... what the instructions say is not what these batteries are labeled anymore, at least in the USA. I will update the review when I look at the batteries to inform anyone of what they are. They are VERY large.

This is a great basic megaphone that does exactly what its supposed to. It gets very loud and you can be heard over people or from far distances. It certainly works very well for annoying friends, family, and neighbors. The siren is very loud and obnoxious as it should be and it even has a music button and it only plays Für Elise, for whatever reason someone might need that. A few other reviewers complained about the battery cover not staying shut, i could see how that would be a problem as the latch on this thing is not that great and is holding the weight of some heavy batteries, however I have not experienced any problems with it. My only complaint would be that the logo on the sides starts to smear and rub off turning the rest of it a pinkish color which is only a minor detail. Overall, if you're looking for a basic megaphone that just gets the job done then is is a great product for you and you can't go wrong at this price.

It helped me call for my lost cat, he hasn't been outside before. I believe he heard me, and found his way home, by using this megaphone.

Works very well. Keep it away from people's ears. Our grandson nearly deafened my husband by aiming the thing at his ears.

No stars, but since I can't make a review without one, here is a star. Can not put batteries in this to make it work. Complete waste of money.

The Pyle-Pro is a decent Megaphone, especially considering the price. It is very lightweight--which is good--but it doesn't feel like it could withstand very much abuse. Also, the buttons that control on/off and the siren are very sensitive--on multiple occasions the siren has gone off while packing the item up into its box. (Maybe it's trying to remind me to take the batteries out first!) Also of note--the volume control "slider" is very small and requires nimble fingers to control. For "light duty" use like coaching a kid's football game, running a "track & field" event, or even as a prop in a stage show (I use it for effect with a couple of my bands) you really can't beat it for the price. You just have to be careful not to knock it around too much. But if you need a megaphone for professional reasons--police, fire, crowd-control, etc--that will last years and survive getting dropped or stomped on, I would spend much more money and get more of a "pro" device. Also of note--this megaphone is very prone to feedback and takes a little practice before you can find the right distance between your mouth and the mic.

Works great! My daughter is a coach and I bought this for her to use. High quality sound and durable. Great price!

Buen sonido y potencia

Works as described. Thanks.

I am a PE teacher teaching outside all year during the pandemic, and we loosing my voice yelling instructions to kids. This was by far one of my best COVID purchases. It's lightweight, and my voice can be heard from very far away while using this megaphone. It is really light weight, (it's the 4 D batteries that add weight to it). The song button that comes a feature is terrible, but I'm not sure why you need to use it anyway. I would definitely recommend this product and I will never buy a big bulky megaphone again. Exceptional value. Also I've used it everyday for the past month and the batteries are still going strong.
