Kindle Fire HD 8.9" Black Textured Leather Case - 'Create Your Own'

The case is decent (although I like my Moko case a lot better). It's a bit on the lightweight side and the leather is pretty light weight. Kindle seems to fit well in it. I have an issue with the picture customization, though. I used a very high quality, high pixel picture and was very disappointed to see that the transfer was not very sharp and the texture of the case surface negatively affected the picture quality as well- it's too heavily textured to present a decent looking picture surface- needs a smooth leather surface. My husband asked me when he first saw it if I knew it was going to look so bad. Add to this, I was charged full price for it, not the listed 29.99. I would never have paid almost $60 for this case (with the shipping charges)for the quality I got. My advice is that make *sure* you get the sale price as it is not a $55 case (I have contested that) and be aware the picture quality is not going to be as good as it looks on the screen when you make the order, use a pic that the heavy texture will not adversely affect (or at least affect too much).

This is a nice case. Slim,light,no frills. I would have liked it to have an interior pocket, but that's no big deal.BUT - If you pay to have it customized, be aware that your picture will be applied to a textured surface. If you're uploading a picture of your pet alligator, it will look amazing. If it's your boyfriend, you may think it looks a bit off. The picture I used has a lot of detail (you have to use an unusually large file), and I think it looks... okay.I love the idea of a custom cover, but I would not buy another of these.

I was pleased with how quickly a customized case arrived...4-5 business days. I chose a very vibrant design, and the only drawback was that the colors on leather are toned down more than I would like, but I think that is the nature of this type of printing process on leather. Overall, it is a very good case and I get compliments on the custom look.

This thing is gorgeous! Just be sure to max out the pixels and mbits. If you do not use a quality picture you will not receive a quality product.There are just two reasons I did not give 5 stars. First, I don't give them. It doesn't leave room for improvement. Second, is price. It's still worth it , tho.

I wanted something other than a dull black case, and something to make it easier to find my Kindle. This customized case was perfect. I used a good 8 meg. H.D.R. photo that I resized to 6 meg. The photo turned out great on the table cover front. Just remember if you use a photo of your own... ugly in ugly out. If you use a low resolution, out of focus, or low contrast photo... don't expect professional photography results on your tablet case.

Purchased this item with photo's for my grandmother, she absolutely loves it! She used it on a daily basis. It is a year old now and it still looks as good as the day it arrived. Easy to use, set up, and keep clean. Will defiantly purchase in the future again!

Great cover but had same photo on front and back even though I downloaded 2 different photos. Contacted CafeePress and advised them of problem. Great Customer Service! They worked with me to resolve the problem.

I had to edit this review as I had my covers mixed up. This cover gets 5 stars for the outstanding customer service provided. The white graphic on the black background was a bit translucent but overall a quality piece. I ordered the wrong size and customer service went above and beyond to help me.
