Having read other reviews for this product I hesitated before buying it for my 10mm thick glass shower door, in case it was too tight to get on. However I 'm glad I went ahead and bought it because, with a little preparation, it fits perfectly. I found a useful tip on another site and following their advice I soaked the seal in a bath of hot water for half an hour to soften the plastic, then used washing up strength soapy water to help slide it on. The most important thing is PATIENCE! I won't say fitting it was a doddle but, after a couple of false starts when I tried to slide it on too fast causing the seal to spring off the door, I took my time and it went on quite easily. Six weeks later, it's still in place and doing its job perfectly. No more leaks. I am an older lady with arthritic hands and if I can manage anyone can.

It was too big .. said 8mm but go for smaller size

Really please with the quality of this product. Hard plastic, much better than the soft ones available at a cheaper price. Stay well in place and I suspect longer lasting too. Glad I paid for quality.
