Are these durable enough to hold pool floats?

Not sure what pool floats are - these are durable enough to hold all my laundry for the week including towels and sheets. I drag the bag down for flights of steps and wash it every week. Holding up just fine.

Are these good to use to line a built in laundry basket? Not to wash clothes in but to hold the clothes to get a little air until I wash a load

Yes, as that is exactly what I use them for. I line my laundry basket with them, and when full I take the cloths bag out to transport my laundry to the washroom.

Can I wash multiple clothing items at once in it?

I use these to transport laundry, not to wash items in. The company does state to contact them with any questions, so that would be my recommendation.
