Make a nice clear color, does stain.
The directions call for 2-3 ounces of product for 3 gallons of water. I mixed the product at 2 ounces and it works great. My grass/weeds are pretty yellow as you can see in the picture, so it does stand out pretty good. If your grass is a lot greener you might have to go with a bit more in the water.I works great on the grass, but wear rubber gloves when mixing it unless you enjoy being mistaken for part Smurf. You can see my hand in the picture and that is after scrubbing with soap and water. It also will stain concrete. It will also stain dog feet! No, there was no chemical in the water when I did any of this, it was just the Blue Turf Mark. I just got the sprayer hooked up to my new lawn tractor and was experimenting with the color, flow rate, etc. I found that it also stains the bare feet of my 4 year old grandson! All in all I'm quite pleased with it. Now that I know how it sticks to non-grass surfaces, I'll be more careful in the future. I will definitely purchase more when I need it.

Wear old shoes, great for single or multi day projects (think couple of acres without tractor access)
I recommend it for spraying weeds and ants outside, although I don't know that I would trust it to fade if sprayed indoors even though its stated that its safe for that.I read the reviews prior to mixing it the first time and mixed it 1/2oz per 1gal. It was blue, although going from direct sunlight to shade (NM has over 300 cloudless days) it was difficult to tell if I'd sprayed in the shade. Going from shade to sunlight did not cause me to have the same confusion.I went back the next day to finish spraying, and I could tell what I needed to spray still, which was great. All of the blue disappeared eventually, some surfaces took closer to 2 weeks instead of 48 hours.I did mix it once at the 1oz per 1gal and that is very, very blue. It was easy to tell where was sprayed going from direct sunlight to shade and in reverse. At this strength I accidentally misted my shoes (wind shift) which caused faint blue speckles. The speckles have remained for over 2 weeks and don't appear to be fading. As a note, there is a warning that this can possibly stain, and my shoes (Wolverine tan boots with leather upper and manmade sole) definitely resemble that.

Fantastic container
Measuring is fantastic. This type of container is the only way to go if you can get it. Used this to mark for herbicides on my lawn. Not as dark as I expected even mixing heavy. I found that at a distance I could see it, kinda like a shadow, but up close looking for the overlap not so much. Still worth using. This was the case when spraying the entire lawn with pre-emergent. For spot use the color stands out much better. I had no issues with clean up. Overspray on concrete & synthetic fence (not sure of the material but not wood) rinsed right off. Got quite a bit on my thumb when my rubber glove tore, cleaned off pretty good using a fingernail brush and aggressive cleaning, completely off my thumb on the next day. I use this with: MSO surfactant, 2,4D, XLR8, and Dimension. Mixed fine with any mixing combinations I needed at the time. I have a 2gal backpack sprayer and no issues at all with spray pattern. I did start every mix with about 2/3 water and blue dye first, I always add the MSO last. I’m not sure if it matters but some info out there suggests mixing in that order.

Works as advertised.
I had heard this stuff gets everywhere. I wore gloves and didn’t get a drop on my hands or arms, but I didn’t think about my feet! The color is good, and there was plenty for an 18,000 sf lawn. I wish the container was a bit bigger. I’d order this product again.

Tried it; Sold on it!
I thought this might be a 'luxury' I didn't need. I've been spraying for years without it. Well, for gross spraying - down the edges of the rural driveway and some general areas, I can still do without it. But when spraying "Cat's Claw" vine in the woods around my house; when trying to get rid of all the bermuda grass when preparing a new planting bed - or for anything else that requires some finesse and accuracy, this stuff REALLY helps. I find for most of my stuff I can use it about 1/2 strength (& sometimes 1/4) & save a few bucks. It shows easily on bare ground / dry & dead grass / driveway rocks / and concrete (edge). But it also easily washes off in a day or two of sun and/or rain. Sometimes within a few hours it's hard (at 1/2 strength) to tell where I've sprayed. If vegetation is lush and you're only wanting to spray part of it - use more. It's harder to see on just green vegetation than on surrounding ground, but even at 1/2 strength you can see if you look. I won't use it ALL the time, but I will have it available ALL the time for when it's most helpful.

Works great, doesn't easily wash off
Easy to mark which weeds you've treated so not to treat twice.
