The first one I bought did not work but it was an easy return and they sent me another one that did work fine......... but after less than 4 months it has stop working so here I am again I am going to give them one more chance and order another one only because it was doing a good job when it was working

There's a reason why you need to wait before reviewing any electronics and this cable just proved that once again! The old saying is still true, you get what you pay for. I've used this thing for exactly one year and the HDMI port just stopped working. The USB and micro port still work fine but I guess I need to spend a few more bucks and get a good because I don't plan on replacing these things every year. I've read some other reviews and this seems to be a common problem between the cheaper models. You never know how long they're going to last.

I was skeptical to purchase at this price fearing a compromise in quality but I was proven wrong! My husband bought a $40 insignia adapter from Best Buy that only allows the adapter connection from hdmi to his Samsung Galaxy note 8, so if his phone was dead we couldn’t watch movies. This adapter is much smaller and delivered a better quality video and sound. We have been using it ever since it arrived and I’m so glad I found it. He can charge his phone through the micro USB port while streaming via the hdmi port to our Samsung TV. So far no drawbacks seen with this, I hope it holds up over time and with continued heavy use. Well worth the money and comparable (if not better) than the name brand options on the market.

Bought this to try to play an MMO on my tablet using keyboard, mouse, and a monitor. It worked well except there was no audio through the monitor. It is more likely the fault of the monitor than the KVM, that that thing was cheap when I bought it 5 years ago. I did find a work around by connecting a bluetooth speaker for audio. Then I realized how incredibly toxic the player base of Albion is and uninstalled the game. I am looking for another use for the KVM.For reference I was using a 10" Galaxy Tab S4

I bought this to take when we travel so we don't have to rent movies.Out of the box, it seems to be sturdy and will hold up well for our purposes.It was easy to connect and use. The picture quality is clear.I'm excited to have this to take on our travels as well as use at home. It makes watching Netflix much easier than on my phone or trying to take the kids PS4.Definitely worth the cost and would recommend for purchase.

Works on MacBook Pro for use with Smartcard authentication

this is a great product and I have both windows and Mac computers. It works as intended and is good quality for my windows computer in terms of hdmi. For hdmi it worked initially for my Mac book pro 2017 but then stopped working so I would be weary if I was a Mac user. Windows this dongle works perfectly all ports.

Great adapter. It is made of good material, the long cord really helps to keep it connected to my macbook. It is resistant, light and works better than other brands I tried before.

Returned almost immediately as this hub does NOT support pass-through charging and it useless in any device where the type c port is also the charging port. Tested on a laptop and a phone. I shoould have realised before purchasing as the hub doesn't even have a type-c port.

AGGIORNAMENTO: Putroppo ha smesso di funzionare dopo dieci giorni e il venditore non risponde all'email.Ho acquistato questo adattatore per necessità professionali: avevo bisogno di mostrare su un monitor in un'aula di formazione il funzionamento di un app gestionale di magazzino.L'ho collegato allo smartphone di lavoro e, una volta collegatolo anche al monitor con un cavo HDMI, ho potuto trasmettere il segnale video in modo semplice. Il segnale è pulito e senza interferenze di alcun tipo. L'uso che ne farò sarà occasionale, ma questo mi permette di mostrare l'app al pubblico in maniera efficace e professionale.L'adattatore dispone inoltre di due porte USB (una ad alta velocità 3.0) e una porta MicroUSB.Sto ancora valutando se mi può essere utile per usi alternativi, ma per le mie necessità il prodotto è stato ok.

Avviato il reso. L'avevo acquistato per collegare il cellulare allo smarth TV come mirror screen tramite cavo HDMI e non funziona. Ho provato a collegare con lo stesso cavo HDMI, funzionante, il cellulare al PC senza risultati. Se collego TV a PC direttamente tramite cavo nessun problema, ma questo lo sapevo già. Ho un cellulare Samsung M20 preso a luglio quindi è recente e supporta il mirror screen. Provato con un altro Samsung stessa cosa. Se collego qualcosa alle USB vedo il dispositivo come archiviazione di massa per cui ipotizzo che non sia funzionante (o perlomeno non come me l'aspettavo io) il collegamento tramite cavo HDMI che era il principale motivo per cui l'avevo acquistato. Così mi è totalmente inutile restituisco.
