Philips - Humidification wick (FY3435/30), Blue/White

Perfect for my Philips 2 in 1 humidifier and air purifier. It arrived in good time.

Meets my requirements.

Even though I followed all the instructions to wash this EVERY week and soak it in vinegar etc etc, it still smells mildewy after a few weeks. Even after I soak it, wash it, three times before putting it back in again, it still smells and the air that comes out of the purifier smells so the whole room smells like wet laundry left in the washer for days. Update on March 2020 - we are on our 2nd or 3rd of these and no exception, all have the same problem. It can only be used if you wash it EVERY time you add water, which is a big pain, not practical at all. And even then, the limescale is still pretty bad (we are in London). Further update May 2020 - just had to get another one...there is no way to keep these mildew free except to wash and disinfect it nearly every time you put water in...

It OK until you wash it and after it starts getting old sock smell. Gets very limescaly even though we use filtered water.

Dank des Befeuchtungselements können wir konstant 50% rel. Feuchte halten was uns im letzten Winter komplett vor trockenem Husten bewahrt hat. Alle 14 Tage sollte das Befeuchtungselement 2-3 Stunden in Essig eingelegt werden, dann hält es gut ein Jahr durch (wir nutzen gefiltertes Wasser, da bei 20 Grad Härte ansonsten alles zu schnell verkalken würde).

Funciona, pero es complicadito colocar en su rueda. Las instrucciones de Philips son deficientes.
