What is the difference between these and the 850 model?

I have both, and the 950 (this one) does have less noticeably less high end (upper frequency is 25K rather thad 30K). Also, as one might expect with closed headphones, there is less "presence." However, the decrease of upper frequency response in the 950 is the major difference. While it is a matter of taste, the 950's sound less natural to me. In additions, the 950's are about 10% cheaper (as of this writing), so that is another difference.

Anyone using this for vocal recording? Is it sound natural and accurate?

used them for everything not as good as my akgs but they are half the money

How is the bass response on these? I mostly listen to Electronic music and play horror games.
