Was in two minds buying this but fought would try it as worse case I would have a battery pack for my phone . But it did the job on my 2.3 petrol engine on completely dead battery very impressed

Fantastic piece of kit

Well I've got to say I'm pleasantly surprised.I've got a 2.5l diesel pick up that I use only for work so sometimes it'll sit there for a week or 3 and the batteries run down (it has 2 X 12v)I bought the 1200a version with a view to trying it and maybe sending back for the 1500a but I was happily surprised.The unit arrived with a 98% charge so I tried it without charging.The pick up was fully flat so I wasn't sure but it says it can start a 5. 5l diesel so...1st attempt the engine turned over but didn't fire. The cut out only let me turn over for about 5 secs so I thought "Here we go"Took plug out of unit and started again. The attempt had used about 15% of the charge according to the digital display and the display on the plug in clips showed 14.5v2nd attempt again no joy. Then I looked at the 2 batteries on my truck and saw the other battery was nearer the starter so switched the plugs onto that battery and it fired straight up.3 attempts had taken the charge on the unit down by about 46% but considering I sometimes have to put jump leads on from my other truck and leave it running for 20 mins before it will fire up I can say I was quite impressed.Plugged the unit into my phone charger after and took about 2hrs to get back to 99%For a budget priced option I'd strongly recommend it for occasional need.Haven't used it often enough yet to attest to its longevity but if it can start a Hilux diesel engine using only about 15% charge then could be good.Handy that it charges using a micro USB - C so can be recharged via your car cigarette lighter so even if you use it away from a power supply you can charge it up straight away.Just bought a travel case so I can easily swap between whichever vehicle I'm using.Far less bulky than heavy duty jump leads

I bought this a few months ago and as my 125cc motorbike has had a flat battery for a couple months I finally got around to trying it... connected chargers, got a red/green flashing light, tried it repeatedly for several minutes, and hey presto, it doesn't work!! This is a glorified, over-priced phone charger,nothing more!! And if it doesn't work on a small cc bike, or sure won't operate with a car. Don't waste your money guys... buy the real thing.

Purchased this items after going through multiple reviews and other products, and it is a good product. Unlike some big & heavy jump starters, this one is small and easy to carry.Mine comes to around 90% charged and I got that charged 100% before using for the first time.Did not get the joy in the 1st attempt and lost the charge around 10%, . Unplugged, and replugged, and did try again and car started :-) The attempt had used about 15% of the charge.Just a note/advise: Plug the jump starter to car battery points, and then it will display the reading for around 15-20 secs, and then goes off. so before you try to jump start the car , press the power button of the jump starter. That might have been the reason, my car did not start in the first attempt.As other people have commented -- jump starter lead is not very long (all okay for my car , but could be a problem for others).The biggest disappointment (as per my experience) is the battery, I left the jump starter in the car and just little over 3 weeks, battery drained down to 0 % . That means, you need to keep an eye on the battery , if you need the jump starter now and then.Not sure, what other people experience in terms of the holding the battery charge, but I am bit disappointed.Overall... does the job but battery charge could be problem in the long run.

This booster battery has jump started my ride on lawn mower twice and charged my phone and hasn’t needed charging yet.I haven’t tried it on a heavier battery yet as I have had no need. Hopefully I won’t need to, but will keep it in the van just incase. It is certainly more than good enough for what I want it for.

will not jump a car. I have another type and loved it bought these for my brother and parents. they have not needed to use them but when they did. today. it would not work. charged no power to start the car. got my other one worked right away. these are poor or at least the ones I have are. AVOID. Would like a refund as these are useless nothing more than an expensive battery pack. will not jump anything.
