KingFastF6 2.5 Inch Sata III 32gb SSD

Been using this for over a year so far.
Are there faster solid-state drives available? Of course. Can you really do anything with a little 32gb drive? Absolutely. Wouldn't your money be better spent on a 500gb traditional drive? Not necessarily. This little drive is still years ahead of a traditional drive in terms of speed and overall performance. Linux Mint, unlike Windows, requires less than 20gb for the OS and most software. I use this in a media center PC. It runs Kodi and web browsers better than it ever would/could have. The movies are stored on a large USB drive elsewhere on my network. The PC is an old HP desktop that given to me for recycling. I don't recall what was bad, most likely the power supply. I was able to pull a supply from another PC also given for recycling that had a bad motherboard. Total investment, $0. This little drive, combined with Linux, gave that old tired dead PC new life. I also installed a better video card, that was scavenged from yet another PC. Don't I have old hard drives that would be free? Certainly, but it would still be a tired old PC. Linux helps a lot, but it can still be limited by the hardware. Upgrading to an SSD is always a great way to improve the performance of any system. This old PC likely wouldn't benefit much from an even faster drive. There's a point of diminishing returns to consider. This inexpensive little drive was the perfect investment. It's a very small price to pay to restore your tired old junker. If you just need a little system for web browsing, a media center, file & print server, router, etc., this will give years of reliable service and make a huge difference in the performance.

Really fast for the money .....
I purchased this for a 2007 vintage Vista OS IBM ThinkPad. I installed, and partitioned to accept Lubuntu Release 15. Lubuntu is a fast, lightweight Operating System similar to Ubuntu, ideal for older systems or resource limited systems. It essentially makes an older laptop into a ChromeBook, more or less. Anyways, it works perfectly, and you can't argue with the price. I see it was made in China, but what isn't anymore. System is really fast, no need to worry about defragmenting, etc.

Can't Ask for More
When I bought this, I had my reservations, but the price was too good to pass up. My experience has been excellent! The drive functions as advertised. When I had a minor technical problem (it turned out to be with a different SSD), I sent an e-mail through Amazon for technical support. I received a timely response with helpful suggestions. Great price, good drive, good tech support. Can't ask for much more.

Excellent drive for a portable PC with a home server with mechanical storage, very snappy performance.
Installed this in a Satellite L505D-LS5010 laptop. Seq. Write and read speeds were 35.19MB/s write, 243MB/s read. Windows boots in about 15 seconds. Slightly better read scores than advertised. For the usability this adds to a portable PC there is no better bang for buck upgrade than a cheap SSD like this.

Unit was not recognized by the laptops - used Partition Commander to identify problem - software said the unit had a problem and it could not be formatted and needed to be replaced. I'm sending this one back. The drive's included instructions are for an mSATA drive, which instruct you to insert the mSATA card until it clicks - bad unit DOA. USPS wanted to charge me $47.00 dollars to return the drive to China - UPS wanted $130.00. My advice: Never buy a product from China or Japan no matter how good of a deal it seems to be.

Get this if your looking for a cheap speed boost on an old computer
Not the best out there, but it breathed life into my old computer. Good packaging and easy install.

Cheaper than the big names, absolutely fine so far (6 months use)
A bit cheaper than the big names, seems to work fine. Perhaps not as fast on paper, but absolutely ok in average use. I use these to boot servers / appliances that don't need a load of space and need to keep power/heat low.
