I purchased this due to the reviews basically 'raving' about this collar because I didn't want a cone for our kitten in his recovery from neutering.It's adorable as heck (the vet and techs loved it), the idea was neat but our little rascal put his back paws on it and chucked it off.It has a drawstring to secure it and we would've had to make it on "choke level" tight to keep it on him.The sizing is a little off. I went to the smaller one because ours is still on the lean, slender side. It would probably stay on a bigger cat.You can throw this in a wash cycle and dry on low heat because it's a cotton pillow donut :)Hope this helps!

This was perfect for my 4 pound Chihuahua who just got spayed. At first, she hated it. It was hard for her to jump up onto the couch and jump off (which is good--she wasn't supposed to jump with her stitches). She tried her best to knock it off, but the adjustable neck kept it on. Eventually, she grew to accept it. It's been over a week, and after she tries her hardest to lick and bite at the stitches, she gives up and passes out on the collar because it's like a pillow. She can reach her back legs and genitals, but she is unable to reach her belly where the stitches are. I bought a small for her, so if she had a leg wound, I probably would have sized up to prevent her from reaching her legs. All in all, very happy with It, and I think she is too

The picture is deceiving , I measured for my cat and what came was TINY and not stuffed firm. There was no way it would stop my cat from getting to his wounds.

I’m thrilled with this donut! My poor kitty has surgery & the cone was gross and completely freaking her out so I thought for the price I would give it a try🙏🏼 Came quickly, already inflated & ready to go. Easy to put on and she really doesn’t mind it at all. I was thrilled she was able to eat & drink so much easier with this rather than the cone knocking everything all over. She had been able to remove the cone within 2 minutes but this took her 6 days. Easily put back on and still working great! Absolutely adorable too 💕

I bought this in the pineapple for our newly spayed cat and loved it. She was so much cozier without the hard plastic cone. Loved it so much I bought a second one. The size didn’t match up at all .. AND it was obviously used with huge stains. Clearly used, returned and resold???! Disappointing.

Super cute and comfty for my Cat. So much better than those plastic cones you get at the vet.

This product looks NOTHING like the photo. The pillow portion is so small, I cannot imagine it keeping my cat from doing more than scratching his neck. While he didn’t seem to freak out or uncomfortable in it, I simply don’t think it’s going to be effective in keeping him from his wound at all.
