UPDATE:The company contacted me after I posted this review. They blamed poor Amazon packaging for the error, and offered to make it right. My original order was placed on Dec 14, 2018. I finally got the correct replacement on January 24, 2019. Apparently they sent a replacement to an Amazon locker of my choice, but failed to notify me that it was sent. When I enquired a week or two later, they said it was returned and asked why I didn't pick it up. I told them I wasn't notified. They then mailed it directly to my house.The upshot is that it now fits perfectly. Their communication is a little sketchy. "Doris" and "Kayla" obviously speak English as a second language. But it is finally resolved. I am improving my rating to three stars because of the lack of accurate communication, the length of time it took to resolve the issue, and the fact that, despite its perfect fit, it's a little sticky to the touch. I think I'd prefer a tempered glass touch pad cover to this plastic. But it does the trick, and hopefully the two little bubbles that I couldn't work out with a credit card will eventually disappear on their own.------------------------My original review:When I tried to install this protector, I realized it didn't fit. Because of that, it's kind of ugly. It was fairly easy to control to lay it into place, but I'm not going to keep it on my track pad, because it DOESN'T FIT. At the edge where it doesn't stick down because it's up on the edge of the wrist rest, the track pad doesn't work reliably. Disappointed.

TOO SMALL TO PROTECT what it specifically says it's purpose is, to protect from water, fluids or dirt against getting down the opening around the touch pad as is said in the bullet points! The "protector" is the exact same size as the pad. I don't CARE if I get scratches on the pad (which has never happened in all the years I've used laptops & all the different laptops I've owned), but I DO CARE about the laptop being ruined by spillage of whatever I'm drinking at the moment. It needs to be larger than the touch pad to cover the openings.

The instructions were not very clear. Applying was not so easy because the film was barely tacky at all and wouldn't stick to my touchpad. After applying and rubbing the film on, I pulled off the final tab and the whole film came up with the layer meant to come off. The result being that I had to reapply again and dust got under the film layer.

Had to cut it down for my laptop but went on ok. You will love the thank you card that’s in the box. I have a few bubbles under it but it will still protect and I need it because my touch pad is hard plastic so this will keep anymore scratches from getting on it.(Dry enough?)

The cover is the perfect fit for the trackpad. The only thing I am not a fan of is putting the cover on a trying to get the bubbles out! I got most of the bubbles out, however there are still some where and there, which aren't too noticeable.

Well, it is part of my fault for not attention when I ordered this one for my MacBook Pro 13-inch (Late 2019)... However, I don't like the feeling of this protector. A bonus is fast shipping and cheap but great quality.

No complaints. Does as expected

I bought this for my macbook air 2020 A2179. It is a perfect fit and the package included 2 set of protectors. A cleaning kit, dust absorber stickers, guide stickers along with a cloth were also included. It does the job overall and is in matte finish and the texture is identical to the original texture of the trackpad. It is an excellent buy and I would totally recommend it everyone.

I ordered this for my MacBook Air with fingerprint ID and it did not fit at all, was way shinier than expected, and did not even come with 2 protectors. Installation was really hard and didn't go smoothly. I suspect that I was sent the wrong product but with the installation process being as hard as it was, I would not recommend this product. Go out and buy a standard matte phone screen protector and just cut it to size--it'll work much better.

Surface does not allow your fingers to glide around easily unless they are extremely dry. Seems a little too "grippy". A little difficult to apply, mine has bubbles trapped underneath despite usually being good at applying these types of things. Otherwise functional.

Quick delivery, a bit hard to install. Great results though. Overall love it and would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a excellent product at affordable price!!!!It’s great!!!! Controls moist fingers on the track pad.
