Great flashlight
Mag makes great products and has done for the past five decades! The LED version is good value and provides bright illumination! The “C” size is easy to hold or carry in a pocket.

Really bright!
When I opened the box today my first thought was crap … I got one that uses C batteries by accident … I’m used to the bigger ones that use D batteries. But I thought, put some batteries in there and see what it can do. Wow … I was blown away by how bright it is! Now I’m glad I got this one since it’s also not as heavy. And it seems as rugged as the others I have.

Lightweight but very bright
We gave our older model to our daughter, which left us one old model that takes D batteries. It’s quite heavy so I bought this because I thought it would be lighter weight.It is lighter weight indeed. But the brightness settings are cool! It’s brighter than the old D batteries model, which uses an older incandescent light I think.Very happy with it

A durable quality product...
As a previous owner of a Maglite 3 D-cell incandescent model for more than thirty years, the 3 C-cell LED model still has the same quality construction, but in a smaller & lighter weight design. My only regret was not purchasing the D-cell model for added weight and durability. Maglite has a well established reputation for its portable lighting products, and stand behind its dependable craftsmanship. A sound investment overall.

Powerful little dude!
When purchasing this light, I thought it was the old 'big' maglite, but that would be the four cell and this is the three. I was a bit surprised when this smaller guy showed up, but thats on me, not the seller. I slapped batteries in it and took it outside...I was shocked at how bright it was. It far exceeded my expectations. Its a nice little light for certain.You probably cant bonk any heads with it, but it will light up the night just fine!

It didn't work
We put 3 good C batteries in the flashlight--we know they were good because we tested them with a voltmeter. The flashlight didn't work. It was shipped in the manufacturer's packaging--a small cardboard box just large enough to accommodate the flashlight. This was inside a plastic shipping bag with no padding. We can only imagine the flashlight was jostled around in transit. We returned it--Amazon thankfully makes this an easy process. It was going to be a Christmas gift but there was no time to order a replacement, so got something else at local store.
