Initially I thought this was "weak" because the smell didn't fill a room but I tried a different brand of essential oil and the scent was so strong it overwhelmed filled the entire house.Based on recommendations in the reviews here I placed 3 drops of lavender essential oil (B00MTZ4IMU purchased on Amazon) in the diffuser but the scent was very weak. So I tried 6 drops, 12 drops, etc. but half a bottle later and I'm realizing at $9/bottle this is not going to work. I researched alternatives online and order essential oil directly from India. Took a very long time to arrive but wow - what a difference.In response to some other reviews I remember reading -- The diffuser is strong enough to fill a living room if you have good quality oil- The top is very easier to remove, secure the base with one hand and with the other hand twist slightly and then pull up- The top is very easy to put back on, just slide onto the base, align the notches and press down- To turn on, press and hold thd power/time button on the back. Press again to cycle between 60/90/180/360 minutes- The light does not have to be on to run the diffuser. You can diffuse with or without the light- The power cable is detachable so you can leave the plug in the wall and carry the base to the sink for cleaning- The diffuser is NOT silent, there is a subtle trickling sound and a slight hum while it's running. I usually put it on while I'm getting ready for bed, brushing teeth etc. and then turn it off just before going to sleep

Ok DANG! I have the $100 DoTerra diffuser and the $75 Young Living diffuser...neither even come close to this one! VERY IMPRESSED!! I was worried it wasn't working at first because I didn't see much of a mist/vapor coming out of it like I do with my other diffusers… But all of a sudden I was hit in the face by the most glorious smell of my essential oils! After just 10 minutes the whole room is filled with the wonderful sent and yet there's barely any mist at all! I don't know what this one does that makes it so much better but I don't even care. I'm in love! And my kids love the changing colors! You can set it so the colors change constantly (slowly fading into ea new color) or if you want you can choose for it to be 1 color or just a soft white light like a nightlight. I'm ordering another one TODAY and my UPS driver just dropped this one off an hour ago! If this thing runs and fills my home with EO's for 8 hrs like it says, I might just marry it! ;) If I could give this 6 STARS I would! Here's a pic of it next to a standard sized coffee cup...

I love this diffuser! We ordered two of them and they have a really strong mist, are easy to clean, and run for a long time. We love everything about them :) Much better than the MLM brand diffuser that came with our oils.Update:We have three of these now and have been using them over one year.They still work just like new :)I still love them - awesome diffusers with a great amount of mist!They get the essential oils everywhere in the room so it smells great!It puts out probably 2-3 times as much mist as the top of the line diffuser I bought with my "welcome" package from the MLM brand.That diffuser was way more than four times the cost of this one and this one out performs it in every way.That is why I ended up with three Eco diffusers and gave the MLM diffuser to a friend who couldn't afford to purchase a diffuser along with some oils :)I love Plant Therapy oils too ... way superior to MLM oils ... they even have testing of their oils and publish the results for everyone to see, unlike MLM oils ... and Certified USDA Organic oils too ... they just beat MLMs on all levels, just like the Eco beats their diffusers on all levels at a fourth of the cost.

I've had this diffuser for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it! I have been having trouble sleeping lately so I use the Young Living stress away oil and I also put a couple drops of peppermint oil when I am studying or working on homework as well. It really does last 10 hours if you leave the timer on the "on" setting. I love the different colored lights and how you can choose one or have them running continuously. Usually for sleep I pick the dark blue color or have nothing on at all. This diffuser will occasionally make a gurgling sound just like a humidifier does but I don't mind, it helps me sleep. I have also noticed an improvement in my sinuses/allergies-I keep the diffuser on my nightstand next to my bed and have the mist facing towards me. Several nights now I have been waking up without a stuffy nose and it has been wonderful! (I suffer from spring allergies and winter dryness) Overall, I would recommend this diffuser. Originally, I was not sure if this was worth the price but now I am thinking of buying another!

I bought this based on reviews and by making my own product comparisons. What I liked best was that it does not heat the oil and the timer settings that last for many hours in a night. It's very easy to clean and maintain. We've been using it for a few months and we LOVE it! It's perfect for our bedroom, which is not small. I'm unsure of the square feet. Really we have it placed near our bed and it diffuses the oil very well near where we can smell it. The instructions say to use like 4 drops but we use like 12. It's smaller than I expected but again, works very well for my bedroom. My husband and I love falling asleep to the smell of lavender. It's so relaxing and the lights are an added comfort. I like doing reviews because for the most part I find reviews very helpful in deciding whether or not to purchase something. I am definitely buying another one for my home office.
