It's big enough to make a real difference. My Mom is 78 with allergies, asthma, and COPD. She often gets bronchitis in the winter, but not this year. I think it helped. First, let me tell you why I got this air purifier. I asked my Naturapathic doctor about my sinus congestion and cough. I asked if he felt an air filtration device might help. He told me, "Yes." I have seen so many advertised and didn't know which would be the best. So I asked if he had any recommendation. Without any hesitation, he said, "Air Doctor". I asked why and he stated several reasons (he is a researcher and does go around the country to lecture on naturopathic treatments). He told me he has some at home and some at the office. I realized they were a little more expensive than some I had seen ads for, but I wanted to get something that a trusted person recommended. So I purchased one. It is in my bedroom next to my bed. I have had it for 6 months. It is easy to set up and take care of. I needed to change the carbon filter (they work best for 6 months), so I purchased all the needed filters for a 2 year supply. When I removed the filter, it looked like the lint guard for a dryer. That was how much small particles were around my bed. I am glad I purchased this one.

These filters are the genuine article, and the price is reasonable. It's been six months since we got the AIRDOCTOR, and as advertised, it needed the carbon filter replaced at this time. You can see the quality of the filters, and the unit sure does a good job.
