I really like the look of this soap pump
I really like the look of this soap pump, and it makes a nice foam. I gave it three stars however because mine does not sit flat. The bottom is slightly rounded I think or something....All I know for sure is that I have set it on several surfaces at this point and it does not stand flat on any of them. It stand upright at least. I can't help but wonder if it is just mine or are they all this way?? I should mention my other soap dispensers of other makes and models do not wobble on these same counter tops.

Elegant solution to the foaming soap dilemma
I'm amazed that foaming soap pumps haven't caught on in a much bigger way. They really save a fortune on hand soap, and they're fun to use.I have another InterDesign foaming hand soap pump that I was using in the shower for a special medical soap (the soap is expensive, and the foam not only extended the life of the bottle, but made it a lot easier to use in a shower.) Unfortunately, I dropped the container and the plastic cracked. That was the end of the that!I was ready to move onto a foaming dispenser for the bathroom sink, but I wanted something elegant looking. This design was as close as I can get, which may not be saying much, since the bottle is plastic. The good news, though, is that it really doesn't look plasticky.I was really gonna push the envelope with this, and try to use a shower gel to make hand soap. I'm in love with Philosophy's Angel Snow shower gel, but it's not made in a hand soap version. Trying to thin out a thick shower gel to the right proportions has been tricky. It's usually one part soap to five parts water, but that was way too thick. After some trial and error, I think I've got it down to an 8 to 1 ratio. Oh, and if you try this at home and your shower gel is NOT clear, but opaque like the Philosophy shower gel, do not stir it or shake it too much. It will not foam! Just stir or shake enough to mix a bit, and let it sink to the bottom. The plastic straw will deliver the thicker soap from the bottom in the right mix to make foam.Oh, and btw, check out the dimensions of this soap pump. It is HUGE! Much bigger than your average soap pump.I'd recommend this pump, at least until something more elegant (in glass! ) comes along.

does not match photo
I'm sure the product works as advertised. But the photo of the product didn't match what I received. The actual pumper part on the top was the same as the other Interdesign foaming pump instead of like the one in the photo. My sink is an oversink so I was looking for a pump that has some reach beyond the edge of the container - this didn't - just like the main Interdesign model you can also find on Amazon which I was trying to avoid...so didn't work for me and I'm agitated the product didn't match the photo and I have to ship back.

Look OK, pumps not great
The canisters are nice-looking and seem durable. The pumps are rather disposable. Sure, they look nicer than the ones that come on the Target foaming soap pumps, but the quality of the pump isn't any better. I bought several of these for use around the house, and in a seldom-used bathroom, one of the pumps is already sticking and requires pressure to raise by hand. Can't tell if this is because poor clearance between the pump mechanism and the ring, or low spring force, but others are starting to exhibit the same behavior.

but I was able to fix that with super glue. The major problem I have with it ...
I have owned this dispenser for two years, purchasing it because the bronze matches the fixtures in our bathroom. Initially, the spout kept falling off, but I was able to fix that with super glue. The major problem I have with it is that when I push the pump down, it sticks and doesn't pop back up right away. I would not buy this again.

So far so good! I've had this for a couple weeks now
UPDATE: I've had the first one I bought for more than two months now and it is still working beautifully. Just bought several more for the other sinks in the house. They work fine straight out of the box, we'll see how they hold up. I'm very pleased with this product! I was re-using commercial soap pumps which worked fine but were starting to look a bit gnarly around the pump itself as they were not designed for long-term use. Besides, they had the brand label on them and were not an attractive addition to my bathrooms. These are far more attractive, and they use even less soap to water so they are more economical. I've had no problems with them so long as I follow the instructions that came with them!Original review: So far so good! I've had this for a couple weeks now, and it is working very nicely. Some reviewers have had trouble with it breaking, so stay tuned . . .

Poor quality, not worth the money
Totally disappointing. Looks nice - classic and elegant. However the pump does not pop back up after one pump. We as a family knew to pull the neck back up to be able to pump again and get more soap out but guests did not. Then after two years of usage, the tab from which the soap comes out fell off. We can put it back in but it often comes out. We didn't want a disposable one to reuse so spent a little extra money for this dispenser. However the quality for what we paid for in comparison to a disposable plastic pump is very disappointing and aggravating.

This is a nice dispenser, it worked ok for a while
This is a nice dispenser , it worked ok for a while. After about 6 months of use the pump began to stick and then the spout began to come off frequently. I keep replacing the spout and continue to use as is.

Annoying to deal with
The pump gums up with soap after a few days and the pump doesn't pop back up w/o assistance. Annoying to deal with, when you are trying to avoid touching anything with contaminated kitchen hands from touching raw meat.

Soap lasts forever!
I love this soap dispenser & have hardly needed to buy liquid soap since I started using this two months ago. Fill one quarter soap & the rest water & it becomes a bottomless foam machine!I have a different make in my kitchen but this one is far superior & I would definitely buy again :-)
