I have it 5 stars bc it smells good in my opinion and it did make his fur softer and shining. But after applying he tried to get it off his coat and made faces while doing so. It was clear to me that he didn’t like it, so I won’t be using it on him. But otherwise it’s a good product

It's a nice shine spray but if you're looking for a strong noticible scent this is not it. It's nice, very light and does add shine for sure. As a dog salon owner, I prefer perfumes to be stronger than this one, so far no owner has mentioned their dogs smells nice and that important to me personally if I'm going to the stretch of adding this to their dog.As a shine spray It's very good, definitely adds a nice look on a dark short coat

I finally found something that conditions my Maine Coon’s end-of-season, dried out, ready-to-shed top coat which is actually like caring for a big head of super fine baby hair. He smells so pretty and the sprayer isn’t loud and scary at all. He knows how good he looks. Spray, let it dry, brush with a mixed boar and smooth-tipped vinyl bristle brush and voila! Kitty’s hair is luscious and flowing.A major plus for anyone with long baby fine hair of their own. This stuff is HOLY GRAIL. Somehow it smooths, shines AND adds body and thickness. Wash and condition with a gentle high quality brand like Pureology (I love Restore), spray this Ginger Shine lightly throughout hair, add some nice thermal cream to protect your ends and dry areas, and use a good blow dryer on low with a round, smooth-tipped vinyl bristle brush. Smooth shiny sexy hair.

My cats now run from the brush after using this conditioner. It works really well, leaving their fur super soft, smooth, and very shiny. Unfortunately, the scent is overbearing even for me, let alone for a little cat's nose. Cat's olfactory senses are waaay more sensitive than ours. What is with these companies making everything so heavily scented? Cat's don't need, and definitely don't want, to be around strong scents, much less have them brushed into their fur. Do they know anything about cats before pumping out products for them? I'll try again if JP comes out with an unscented conditioner... Maybe then I wouldn't have to throw away a full bottle.

This stuff is AMAZING! The scent, the overall product description, and the consistency is all great! It leaves my Golden Doodles coat so soft and shiny. I’m actually a hairdresser and I can tell a huge difference when I use it vs not using it. It also makes her smell incredible and lasts for days. She barely begins to smell like “dog” until the end of the week and it’s not even that bad. My regimen to using this is I towel dry her, spray the product generously, then blow dry. I spray some in my hands and use around her cheek and head area. After she’s fully blow dried, I spray one last round to help with her frizz. This last trick gives her coat a nice curl while eliminating frizz and adds that extra shine too.

I absolutely love using this on my golden retriever after she’s done dock diving and after grooming her!

Loved the lavender one, made my dogs coat noticeably soft and shiny. Thought this would be the same, but I feel that it doesn’t do much. Scent is pleasant though, just wish it was effective.
