This is a good phone case. I work outside for my job and my phone is always with me. I don’t worry about it when I have this case on. This case has kept my phone safe for two years in rain, snow, mud, sawdust, brush fires, and more. I’ve dropped my phone so many times. The case gets dinged up, especially the plastic screen area, and I do occasionally have to take it off to clean dust out, but it’s very easy to clean. I’m finally replacing it after almost 2.5 years because a seal on the top piece broke. I’ve bought this item previously and will buy it again. Great deal for the price.Update:I literally dropped my phone into hot coals around a brush fire today and the case melted but my phone stayed protected. This case saved me lol

This is a great alternative to "lifeproof" if you're looking for a cheaper option, that still promises durability and quality. No issues with wireless charging - just make sure to consider your charging port if you have bigger charging attachments (i.e. - some power banks struggle with these).

Overall Good case! Pros: Fits my iPhone XR nicely. I have read other reviews stating it was hard to install but it’s not really an issue bc you want it to fit snuggly. Waterproof tested in my cargo pocket while fishing on beach in surf with water completely soaking shorts, no issues. Buttons work great! If you’re used to a screen saver, it may take a bit to get used to the plastic cover but still works good. Cons: the silent mode knob is small and sometimes hard to turn but not really a crisis, my wife doesn’t like it bc of this and her fingernails make more challenging. The biggest issue I have is: because it is waterproof the sound speakers are muffled and hard the hear unless in a quiet place.Overall good case, though!

I was pretty happy about my purchase, until the plug that makes it waterproof popped out somewhere. I didn’t even know it was a separate part, so it’s not waterproof any longer. It would be helpful to know to at least be aware that it’s a possibility, or if they just threw an extra plug in ( just in case). I probably wouldn’t purchase it again, I’m looking at another waterproof case, but not from this company. I’m just not happy with how easily the main feature I bought it for is no longer a benefit

This is the right case for you if:-You are frequently in dusty/dirty/wet environments-You mostly use Bluetooth for your phone's sound (e.g. headphones or CarPlay)-You have a MagSafe chargerThis is not the right case for you if:-You watch/listen to your phone using built-in audio-You talk on the phone a lot using the phone's mic.The good: Definitely sturdy and appears to be completely waterproof. All buttons can be used. No need for a screen protector because there's a plastic layer built into the case.The bad: BIG drop in sound quality, both mic and speakers. Playback sometimes sounds muffled on audio that sounded fine before. When recording audio (or talking on the phone) there's a pronounced background hiss/hum, probably because the mic level has to be adjusted high to pick up your voice. Adds significant thickness to the original phone size. The "stand" attaches with a sticker and I'm dubious about how well it will stay on. Had to trash the screen protector I bought because you can't use one with this case (Makes sense, though, since it comes with one). If you have a wireless charger that is wider than your phone, you need to be a lot more precise with placing it: A MagSafe charger should snap into place, but because of the ridges on the sides of the case, a larger wireless charger will only touch the sides of the case and not the surface of it in the middle, which makes it a bit more finicky in getting it to charge. The power port plug is a bit finicky to get in and out, which is good because it seals well, but bad because you have use it a lot. Finally - and this is just preference - I prefer the look and feel of the glass screen without the plastic.All in all, it's not *terrible*, and if you need something waterproof for your phone, it's infinitely better than a pouch or a plastic bag.Like I said in the title of the review, compromises were made: The manufacturer chose "cheap and waterproof" over sound quality, hand feel, and usability.

I always worried that the case would not work in the ocean. Great surprise when we were “swimming with stingrays” on a cruise excursion. My phone was submerged about 5 seconds and continued to get wet for about 20 minutes in he ocean. Once back in the excursion boat, I wiped the phone off and saw that all photos looked good and the phone was still working. Back in our cabin, I took the phone out of the case and made sure it was ok, which it was.Bad part was that it was difficult to see what I was photographing due to the blinding sunlight on the screen.This turned out to be a great purchase!!
