Sperry Womens A/O 2-Eye Boat Shoe

They’re Sperry! What more can be said?! They’re comfortable, they’re functional, they’re fashionable, and I love them! Having grown up on the North Carolina coast, I’ve worn Topsiders for years! These are a new twist on an old favorite.

Love, love, love Sperry's boat shoes because they're so comfortable. Let me start off by saying I consider myself to have wide and thick feet. This poses a big problem when it comes to narrow shoes but I saw the Petrol blue color and simply couldn't pass it up. Out of the box the color is absolutely beautiful. If you love blue, trust me you'll love this shade. The shoe sports a gum sole, which is non-marking and also has tied suede laces that are not pictured. I had a little difficulty initially walking when I first got these shoes. They were a bit tight in the front, and the back of the shoe dug into my heel. I know since I have wide feet it does take time for me to break into narrower shoes to get them comfortable, so I opted to wear these shoes with a pair of ankle socks (thin ones, not the thicker athletic variety) a few times. It REALLY helped stretch the shoes out. After wearing socks with these shoes 3-4 times they were good to go without socks and my feet fit comfortably inside. Over a few weeks of wearing them they have begun to crease a little in the front. Doesn't bother me, just means they're getting broken into. I have a few other pairs of Sperry boat shoes and this one has a soft, suede insole compared to others that have the leather insole. I kind of prefer the suede insole because it's much softer and the suede doesn't "rub" off over time. The petrol color is also really spot on to the Amazon photo. These pair of boat shoes are my go to shoes in the spring and summer and they look amazing dressed up or down. Don't hesitate to get a pair, you'll love them!

I really wanted to love these sperrys. My boyfriend has the exact same pair in men's sizing so I figured that I'm getting a women's pair to match. I've read all the reviews about sizing on amazon and still went ahead and ordered my regular size (I wear an 8.5 in most brands such as Nike and Frye engineer and an 8 in UGG and Frye Melissa boots). My toe box is medium sized maybe a little on the wide side. I should mention that before these sperrys arrived on Sunday, I paid a visit to Woodbury outlets on Saturday and picked up another pair of sperrys and a new pair of Bass wenjuns. Both are 8.5 and fit very very comfortably. The woodbury sperrys differ from these Amazon sperrys in that the straps are not made of leather but fabric, and there is no plaid design on the insole - the insole is purely plain color. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time and are about as comfy as a pair of minnetonka flats I've worn for 2 years. HOWEVER, when these Amazon sperrys arrived, they looked immaculate in the box but are a pain to wear! I compared the toe boxes and realized that they are narrower than the woodbury ones (NOT marked as wide). The length is exactly the same. Confused but persistent, I kept them on my feet for half an hour but could not imagine having to break it in. I ended up returning these shoes. The price on Amazon is great, the shoes are gorgeous, but they are for those with narrow feet.

I had to return them after trying them on. The quality of the shoe is great but they are so narrow. I don't normally wear a wide shoe but based on reviews about the shoes being narrow, I ordered a wide and they seemed narrow to me. I don't consider the wides comparable to a medium width.

My mother absolutely loves Sperrys. So I got these boat shoes for her, not expecting much based on the stock photos. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw an outstanding quality of the material and stitching. The memory foam insole makes otherwise completely flat bottom more comfortable, allowing some (not substantial) arch support. Although I ordered them in medium, they will fit someone with wider feet, as the suede lace/cord on the top makes them easily adjustable. I found some of the previously purchased leather/suede Sperry shoes too stiff at the beginning. These were soft right out the box. And they look much better in person and on one's feet than in pictures. A stylish classic style, versatile use and great craftsmanship. If mom is happy, the entire family is happy.

I love these shoes in every way EXCEPT for the cushioning. They feel like you're standing right on the floor. I wouldn't recommend these if you're planning on doing a lot of walking. There's enough room to add an extra cushion though so I kept them. They're really comfortable otherwise and don't rub my feet anywhere or require any breaking in. They're soft yet sturdy and I wore them all day right out of the box.

Angenehm zu tragen, bequem und schick. Gute Verarbeitung. Hatte zwar die Hoffnung, das Leder sei noch weicher, aber ich bin trotzdem zufrieden für den Preis.

Muy buen producto

Der Sperry Bootschuh ist ein Klassiker, der eigentlich immer geht. In der natur-braunen Ausführung gefällt er mir besonders gut. Am schönsten ist er mit freiem Knöchel zu Skinny Jeans. Zu dem Preis ein echtes Schnäppchen! Nachtrag: 28.09.2014 Nachdem ich den Schuh jetzt einige Male getragen habe, bestätigt sich der positive Eindruck. Sehr bequem!

Confortable et beau. Comme si les photos, bonne qualité. Les chaussures couinent un peu au début mais cela part après les premières minutes portées. La livraison a été un peu compliquée à comprendre mais elles sont ici et je les adore !
