Sitz Bath Soak for Postpartum Care & Hemorrhoids, Bath Salt, 10 oz

Bought this product for hemorrhoid care. I will be honest, if you have an open wound it can be painful to use a sitz bath product, but this one has helped calm the inflammation. Highly recommend.

This worked better than I thought it would ir had no wild smell and was very soothing.

Love this bath sitz! I had a baby and taking a bath postpartum in this was so nice!! I love the way it smells, makes you feel like you are in a spa! When you get up and out of your bath the oil in it coats your skin nicely making it feel soft and moisturized but not actually oily. The ingredients are much safer for your skin. Never had any undissolved chunks or pieces floating around. Honestly, wasn't all that into bathing before but nowim fully into it and will be using this sitz for all future baths just because!

The bath salt itself has been nice and seems to be helping postpartum healing. However, the packaging could be improved. The salt gets all in the Velcro top seal and does not work. You have to store it in a ziploc bag and the salt still spills out everywhere. The smell is also a little strong.

I know I will eventually end up using after my baby is born, and that’s when I wanted to put in my review, but my 4 year old son, loves spicy food and bread, I’m sure he got it from me lol, we’ll one weekend we had a bbq I didn’t really check up on his water intake and he had a really bad episode in the bathroom, literally took him, about 20 ‘minutes while I he’s his hand and helped him breath through the pain and discomfort of realeasing he bled somewhat sorry if TMI but as soon as that happened I put him in a bath with this salt, the smell amazingly calming and soothing. I stood by his side while time and I noticed his skin looked very moisturized and he came out of there, thanking me so much, I promised to keep watch of his water intake but this definitely helped my baby no needed medicine, or any ointment after. Highly a must have for many reasons. I suffer from hemorrhoids, and my son from constipation and can’t wait to use after my baby girl is born!

Stubborn fissure. Sorry for TMI: I get constipated on my period and, if I'm not careful, I aggravate a fissure. I did this sitz bath 2-3x a day for just 2 days and my bum never healed so fast. Cautionary tale. Stay hydrated, eat lots of fiber, don't ignore the urge to go!

My Lochia scent was horrible; literally like something died. I was told that when the placenta dislodges, it leaves being a huuge wound (nobody tells us these things before we give birth😒) so it smelled like a sore. Soaking in warm water with this solution is the only thing that helped. It's a good thing I bought it. I almost never did because ibwas told to use just warm salt water. Skin felt very well moisturized afterwards too. The experience with this on my skin - the feel of my skin - has caused me to start using oils on my skin at the end of a shower. Would definitely recommend. Oh, and in terms of smell, it's a herbal scent with a scent almost like blossoms. It's not a fruity or high flower scent, so that was awesome. I wouldn't say it leaves a lingering scent. Some of it stays with you, but it's not overpowering.

I loved the lavender scent. The texture threw me off at first and it felt like it was moist but once I used it, I was so happy and satisfied! I’m not sure if the texture of it is normal since other store brands are more sandy. But hands down this has been one of the better ones to use especially after giving birth! Highly recommend for new mamas!
