After checking in various stores, I came to the conclusion that these batteries are simply not common enough for stores to have them on their inventory. So I was so happy to find them on this website and able to order what I needed.

Replacement for 23AE battery
I needed to replace 23AE battery in an older ceiling fan remote. Search results only displayed 23A and A23 batteries. This 2 pack was a little more expensive but it fits and works perfectly.

Functional for my ceiling fan remote
This seems to be an adequate replacement battery for the original that was in my remote controller. I was looking for a GP23AE and this GP23A seems to work for now.
