Therefore, I would need a deeper review of each book for the GMAT. The above three books cited have been very satisfying in helping me to prepare for the Quantitative section of the exam. As for "Princeton Review of Math Workout" for the GMAT 5th Edition, I am hoping I made a better choice of purchase compared to KAPLAN version of the book, and as for EZ Solutions Test Prep Series for Geometry by Mr. Punit Rarya SuryaChandra, I have very high hopes the book will help me to solve any similar difficult questions that I couldn't solve on my own in the E-Z Geometry Practice Exercises by Mr. Leff Lawrence, so I would be using the test preparation as the "Workout Book" on Geometry. The first practice question in the Geometry Test Preparation by Punit however, explains perpendicular line as an 180 degree. Perpendicular lines typically forms a 90 degree angle and that has been consistently maintained by Mr. Leff Lawrence in the E-Z Geometry. However, the second question was quite right about angles formed by straight line which is equal to 180 degree. So, I wouldn't know if there is something I am missing out in the first question by Mr. Punit SuryaChandra Geometry test preparation or if it is a pesky mistake from the author or the publisher of the book. Otherwise, these collections of books I expect to help me overcome the GMAT quantitative section. Again, I still have serious review of the GMAT to do, so I may not be able to give final comments about these books until after the real GMAT exam, which hopefully I will take later in 2016. Thank you to all the booksellers for the opportunity to purchase these books at very fair rate on desertcart. Review: An Excellent Book to Brush Up On Geometry - I used this book to brush up on my Geometry, and boy, did it put me to work. What I liked about the book are the explanations of Geometric ideas, theorems, particularly the proofs. But this book will put you to work with all the problems that it has in it. Some sections are easier to finish than others, but once you get to the proofs, they'll take some time to complete. Overall, this book almost works like a text-book given the volume of material and explanations and practice problems. I highly recommend this book.

More than adequate for the money
I'm not as crazy about this edition as I was for the Barron's Algebra. This author is a bit too wordy for me in making his point. There are a ton of proofs included so this is helpful. Worse thing is, like many, he shows no work explanations on the chapter summary reviews; just an answer key.

I purchased this book to improve my foundation in mathematical proofs. I was not strong in geometry during HS and did not realize how much proof work is involved with the subject. This book is very easy to follow and has solutions to each and every problem in the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like to improve their background in the subject of Geometry.

glad we went with this book
I purchased this after my daughter started seeing a tutor for geometry. Normally a straight A student, she was really struggling with geometry. The title suggested getting a book, as her class doesn't use one. It's been very helpful, and should still be helpful when she's taking college courses. It's straight forward, glad we went with this book.

This is an excellent adjunct to the classroom book, providing explanations and examples that help clear up misunderstandings in my students. I used it with an honors level geometry student who had some difficulties, especially with proofs, and it helped her quite a lot. Her grade improved, and she was delighted. I liked that the information was well organized, the examples were thorough, and all problem answers were in the back.

NO index. NO good !!
A famous author once said that a book that does not have an index should not be allowed to be published. This book E-Z Geometry (2009) does NOT have an index. I own the 1997 book titled Geometry The Easy Way, which is the previous edition of this book. The 1997 book HAS an index. For years, I considered Geometry The Easy Way one of the finest geometry books ever written and recommended it all my fellow math teachers. The 2009 book is smaller in size and has a new chapter (Transformations), so the pagination is different than the 1997 book. I wrote to Barron's and they said that the 2009 book (498 pages) exceeded their "page limit" and that is why they could not include an index. I have thousand page books that have an index! Barron's simply didn't want to pay for an indexer to create an index. Any teacher preparing a lecture will tell you that an index in an invaluable tool in quickly finding a definition, formula, diagram, etc. By way of a little history, Carl Linnaeus (1707-1778) is known as the "father of modern taxonomy" because he created the biological naming scheme of binomial nomenclature. He would use little cards to build an index as he was writing his many books. These cards later became known as INDEX CARDS. By not including an index in the 2009 book, Barron's RUINED a perfectly good book. I am thoroughly disappointed.
