Epson Expression Premium XP-7100 Print/Scan/Copy Wi-Fi Colour Printer

Compact multi function printer..easy to set up and reliable connection with wi-fi..printing quality is good and colour pretty near the mark. It has an auto drawer which extends to catch the printed sheets which is a little flimsy but so far works without a hitch.

I bought this printer to replace my broken 5 year old Canon. It was quite easy to set up the software on 2 laptops to get it working. The print quality is better than I had with the old one and it is faster. However the menu system is not brilliant for example each time you scan you have to select which "saved" laptop you want to send the scan to. So you have to use the touchscreen panel more times than you would like to.If you make an enlarged copy using the zoom setting it stays the same after a few minutes lying idle or even if you switch it off so you have to remember to set it back to normal otherwise your next print will be zoomed and wasted.

I have given this model 4 stars, as it not as good a build quality, as my old epson 8450 ( it was built back in the day when they were hard wearing). Fortunately I wont be moving it around much from its present location. It is decent value for money, as you can purchase the eco ink cartridges if you are printing a good amount of photos. Prints well, is more compact than my old model, and its a wifi model, which was easy to set up and use

Perfect

So far, I am very pleased with this printer. It is very compact but actually does more than my previous large multi-function printer. I was pleased, finally, to see that Epson has dropped the fax (who needs them nowadays). I really like the fact that it has two different size trays - so you can print on A4 and photos/cards. It also has a rear sheet feeder, so if you have headed paper, or even an envelope, that can be used here. Scanning/copying are very straightforward. The setting up is very straightforward - I have it connected both by USB and WiFi and both work brilliantly.

I needed a printer that prints directly to CD/DVD’s. This printer does the job outstandingly! As well as that, the general print quality, design and functionality are all absolutely superb for a home office environment. I used Hewlett Packard home office printers for decades; however, because HP doesn’t offer a printer that prints directly to CD (not to mention their unknowledgeable and; therefore, useless customer service), I am now an Epson user, and (because of the quality of this printer), will be for the foreseeable future! I strongly recommend checking out a You Tube video review before purchasing so that you can identify some of the quirks, but they weren’t deal breakers for me, just useful tips.

Not too bad to set up but for use with my windows 11 pc have found :a) You cannot scan a document in to the PC- windows won't let you - you have to scan to a usb stick and then move the document to the PCand b) for me anyway you cannot use the upper tray to print apparently also windows won't recognise the upper tray for this. So it is not really able to do what I wanted- now this may not be the printer itself, but Microsoft- but it was not clear to me that it would have these limitations with a windows 11 PC. Would not recommend. I will seek some outside help as I cannot do anymore, and perhaps come back if it can be made to do what I wanted.

When it's working, it performs well. There is a concern where it fails to print and tells you the paper is wrong size, or doesn't match what machine setting. The paper did match and was correct size when measured. It seems that the paper guide requires very exact positioningOn searching internet, this would appear to be a common problem/

Pour l'instant tout est bien. Je verrai à l'utilisation. Très beau produit. Déjà installée et mise en route sans difficultés

Répond parfaitement à mes attentes. Reste à voir dans le temps ce que ça donnera, surtout en consommation d'encre
