Excellent product, i bought it for my 91 year old mother who was having trouble turning the key with arthritic hands and she has nothing but praise for it, it has made her oife a lot easier.

Bought for my mother with arthritic hands. I read the reviews- they warned that the retention nut is easy to lose. I lost the nut the day after I got it. My fault, but when the reviews say the nut is easy to lose, it is no exaggeration. Glue the nut in as soon as you fit the keys, or do what my mother did and wrap the whole thing up in sticky tape. It is not an expensive item and does work, but is important for these tools to be reliable- a person with weakened hands can be left stranded outside their own home.

I did find that the key does not slide back out of the way. My door lock is too close to the door frame and almost takes my knuckles off , but with this " Helping Hand Key" is makes opening the door a breeze. Due to its size and the fact that the key does not slide into the key, it is ok as I carry it in a separate pocket of my handbag. I am due to have two lots of surgery on my hand and afterwards I shall have the assurance that I can get into my home without difficulty, so I say a Huge Thank You.

My mum is a young 64 years old and a tough cookie. However when she could not grasp a door key with her fingers anymore she cried. I'd never seen her cry and I was heartbroken so I did a Google search and this little item popped up! For only a few pounds it was worth a go and hey presto, it works!! My mum can now go out without worrying how she will get back in. It's the best feeling ever to make her smile again and she's gained back a little independance that she was upset she'd lost. May work to help turn the key but difficult if you do have arthritis to fit on the key. Bit flimsy and useless on car keys
