I bought this flashlight for uranium glass shopping. Testing it on the uranium glass I already have, it works as expected. I took it paint shopping recently too. I was looking for what paints are UV reactive, to spice up some things I'm planning on making. The added bonus is that it charged up the glow-in-the-dark paints too. It's nice being able to test paints in the store, especially with this compact size. My older lights were much larger, and more cumbersome to carry into stores discretely. It takes a standard 18650 battery. We have a bunch for other lights and assorted stuff. 18650s are the new standard for portable devices, replacing AA/AAA batteries that would just die off fast.

This is a powerful UV flashlight that really does its job well. Whether you’re checking for pet stains, leaks, or other hidden messes, the beam is strong and clear, and it reveals details even in well-lit areas. The one thing to note: it requires a 18650 rechargeable battery, which isn’t something most people have lying around. You’ll likely need to order it separately, and it’s not included with the flashlight. Still, excellent performance overall—just be sure to have the right power source ready to go.

Bought this for several reasons, but the most influential was to use it to track game after dark. This light is really bright and has white light mixed in so I don't need two flashlights when working after dark. Blood trail glows like neon with this light and makes it much easier to track your game after dark. Not sure how it works for curing resins but it does work well for locating stains on carpet and furniture, locating leaks on AC systems, and for identifying antique Uranium or Vaseline Glass. This light is a Dual-Fuel light. It accepts CR123A Batteries or 18650 Li-Ion. You'll probably get a brighter light with the CR123A, but the 18650 is rechargeable and will probably give you a longer run time and is more than sufficient for most applications. A+ for this light.

Very reliable. It's nice there's a focus on it so I can either have it wide or narrow depending on how far I'm looking for something. Simple on and off switch on back. No nonsense SOS modes or brightness levels to deal with. I had a previous ultra fire light a few years before this one and they have improved a lot since then, funny thing is this takes the same batteries as well. This does a better and brighter job than the old version.

I use this for curing resin, works great

So I bought the UV beast. I love it. It's super strong. It's not adjustable like this one. The UV beast is pretty big and I was looking for something a little bit smaller. This one has over 500 nanometers. The other one has 495. I do windshield repair for a living for cars. I have a 12 volt plug-in lamp works great Kia's resin in about 20 seconds. I know these flashlights can't be as strong as a plug-in lamp for curing. I really wanted a flashlight that I could use just for small simple repairs that I could have in my little side pouch. But this lamp isn't strong. It would not cure a small chip even with holding the flashlight for over a minute. Whereas the UV beast would cure in about 30 to 40 seconds. Don't buy it weak

I wanted a cheap, single led, uv light for disc golf. The multi light affairs seem weak. I have a charger and a bunch of 18650 batts so this was perfect. It will be great for throwing at night or finding discs at night that I lost earlier. It charges my Eclipse discs in a snap. Noticed someone complained about batteries down below. You can get cr123a batteries at almost any grocery store and two should work fine . These are not rechargeable and therefore fairly inexpensive. I think they have less voltage and last a bit, while an 18650 will have higher output for shorter periods....at least I think that's how it works.

I got this light to see how much of a crime scene the cats have left around the house. This light shows there’s a lot of crime in this house.
