I love this book! It is so informative and interesting! Lots of wonderful information. I should have read it closer because the authors are based on the UK and I am in the USA, so some diseases prevelent there are unheard of here. Still great information on care, etc.

Love this book. Makes my first buy at sheep, much less intimidating. Full of great information and easy to understand.

My kid uses it

We have only skimmed it so far but looks invaluable. Our local vets know little about sheep so this book should really come in handy.

I have raised Babydoll sheep since 2008. Over the years I've bought various books on sheep and this one is the best so far. Definitely a MUST have for a novice!!

A must for all sheep keepers large and small.If you are going to keep and breed sheep you need to know the basics of veterinary treatment for all sorts of ailments related to disease control, general welfare, foot care (Agnes Winter is a well known expert in this field) and lambing problems.Its no substitute for getting the vet out when required but it will help you know what to look for and save time and effort in treating the many and varied problems that your sheep will present to you.

I am pleased with this book. Lots of useful information, clearly written with illustrations. Very comprehensive. Has helped already with a problem i had. Well worth having. I recommend this book.

Excellent book for Shhep care

Really helpful to me as a novice keeper to be. I like to carry out thoroughly research before I purchase an animal and this book has been and will be a great reference book

I've kept sheep for just a few years and have relied on others for advice. This book explains things clearly with photos and diagrams. The chapters include the type of questions you would ask and of course have answers and it's easy to read.
