UnityWall Clock, Gairn, Silent Sweep, White, 30 cm / 12-Inch

so far after a number of days this clock keeps on ticking and does not show itself to be a battery hog, which is a concern i acquired, after i received it, after reading reviews here. it is silent, it is sweep hand movement, and it has not yet exhausted the battery after using since october 9.

Bought this on 9/21/14 and it's still working like a dream. At first I wondered what I was doing dropping so much money on a clock when you can get one for $3 at Ikea, but the quality here is undeniable. Whenever I look at the clock—probably 20+ times a day—I'm happy I splurged for the peace of mind that it'll last a while. I love the simplicity of the design and the absolute silence of the smooth red second hand making its revolutions. The clock is large enough so that when I wake up in the morning without my contacts in, I can squint across the room and still get an accurate reading of the time. Another plus: it goes well with any room's color scheme.

I bought this in 2015 and am back to buy a second one. I couldn't be happier with it. It's silent as a mouse, I love the sweeping second hand movement, and it's just beautiful and looks great. This is the kind of clock you buy once and you're so happy with it you hope it lasts forever.Update 12/1/2020 - I bought this over five years ago and still love it! After hours of searching Amazon for clocks, I found this clock and originally purchased it because it had nothing but 5-star reviews. It seems that has changed, but I am quite satisfied with the clock. It does look great in person, the motion is smooth and silent, and it's incredibly easy to read.I haven't had the clock for long, maybe a month now, but so far the clock still matches the time on my cell phone exactly. I will update if that changes, but so far I really like this clock.

I own two of these. The first one is silent, but the second one makes ticking noises after being hung on the wall. Removing and replacing the battery briefly fixes the problem, but not permanently. I really like the design, but I bought the second one specifically because the first one was silent.

Love this clock big bold numbers on a bright white background gives you an easy read on this clock. Excellent quality quiet smooth crisp design. We have this clock in our Florida room. You can even see it from a distance while standing in the back yard I would highly recommend! Searched all over my local stores could not find what I was looking for so started searching online and Bingo.

Love this clock. Large easy to read numerals and hands. Very attractive. I have it in my kitchen and love it.

Really nice looking wall clock. Lies flush against the wall and doesn't look cheap. Have had it up several months; it works great and is completely silent. Try to get it on a marked down price (not the +$50). Would definitely purchase again.

Had this for a few weeks now and to date is keeping good time, what more do you want from a clock , looks stylish too.

I love this clock. It is absolutely smooth and quiet. I once threw my other clock out the window like a frisbee into the snow because the ticking was driving me crazy. It still worked after that and I hung it back on the wall. Finally I have a clear, quiet modern clock. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I love this clock. I brought the old clock into work... it can make them crazy now.

Silent. Good

Lovely clock which has huge numbers so good for people with poor sight. However, one downside the clock is not purely silent, when the second hand gets between 3 and 6 you can hear the mechanism whirring. It gets a bit annoying at night as everything is quiet.

design has everything I wanted but it stopped keeping time after three weeks! I put new batteries in.
