Well Built, Affordable Introduction to The World of VR
I rated the BNext VR Headset 5 stars for what it is, an entry-level, affordable gateway to the world of VR. If you’re expecting these well built $39 dollar VR goggles to provide you with the same experience as top-flight ones costing over $800, $600, $350, or even $150 then any disappointment in the experience is from misplaced expectations and not the fault of the product. Just make sure your phone is equipped with an accelerometer and compatible with VR. With the right phone, The BNext VR Headset will give you access to the many 360 degree videos available on YouTube as well as the many new VR games available in the iTunes store and Google Play. I sat in delight as I floated to the edge of space attached to a weather balloon. Sitting in a swivel chair I could turn 360 degrees, look up and down and feel the experience. There are also some great roller-coaster VR games that work well with the headset that will also give you the sensation of movement. When using well-designed software the experience can be first-rate. Unfortunately, there are a lot of buggy VR games out there that can lend themselves to frustration because with no control buttons on the headset, the phone needs to be removed and reset every time the software messes up. Set-up is very easy and it is recommended that the enclosed directions be followed. The set comes with self-stick rubber pads that will create clearance for buttons on the side of the phone and prevent unwanted presses. I found the headset to be comfortable for an hour or so of play and the straps were comfortable and supportive. I would recommend purchasing a VR controller, some are available for as little as $11-$15 dollars to really enhance your VR experience. The BNext VR headset is a good way to start exploring the world of VR and is sturdy enough to provide entertainment for years to come.

Great Headset, but can be uncomfortable.
This headset is very good for the price at everything it does and I like it for that reason. However it is very uncomfortable for me to wear for extended periods. 15 minutes in of playing a VR game and I could really feel the weight of my phone and the headset bearing down on my nose and it really hurt. I tried putting one of the pads that come with the headset (for keeping the phone elevated when inside the headset so it doesn't hit volume/power buttons) and it frankly made the problem worse. Adjusting the straps did not help much either for me. It's a bit of a bummer that it's uncomfortable for me to wear but other than that it is good. Due to the comfort problem I believe I will be returning this as it's a huge deal breaker for me, but currently I am trying to see if I can find a workaround for the comfort issue for the time being.

Great product
This is a very good VR product for the price. Granted, this will not give you the same high tech quality as those more popular VR products, and also it's not as sturdily made, considering those can go over hundreds or thousands of dollars, but if you want something that's affordable and does a passable job, this may be the product for you. Pros: Reasonable Price, straps can be adjusted for a comfortable wear, goggles are adjustable (I wear glasses and while they were a slight annoyance at first, I just slid the goggles forward and they were no longer bothersome) Cons: I don't know if every person who purchased this product had this problem, but you have to take the case of your iphone every time to make it fit inside the cradle, which can be an annoyance, luckily I have an LG K31 and it fits just fine even with the case on. It also does not come with a remote control, you will have to buy one separately, and finally, those tiny foam pads that you can stick to your iphone to prevent any accidental button pressing were more of an annoyance to me than anything, and I had a feeling they wouldn't last long anyway, so I threw them away, I just have to be careful when putting my phone in. Anyway, thank you very much for this product.

Doesn't work as advertised, physically painful to wear
The instructions require you to install Google Cardboard and set the Bnext as your headset type--that part works out just fine. And that's where it stops working. There is no way to interact with anything. The instructions say that you simply stare at something to activate it, and that is not the case. You can stare at a button as long as you want, and nothing happens. It was impossible to even complete the Google Cardboard tutorial! On top of that, the nose indentation is way too shallow. The hard plastic corner was digging into the bridge of my nose, and it physically hurt to have it on. Raising it off my nose or sticking a wad of cotton there didn't help because then the lenses were pushed up too high to see. I figured if I could find even one VR app that I enjoyed using I could justify keeping it, but after 2 weeks of off and on poking around the Play store I gave up. I was hoping this would be like the old Samsung Gear VR headset, but it performed even worse than the goggles that are literally cut out of cardboard. At least those had a trigger button and don't hurt to use. In all the years I've had Prime, this is the first time I've ever returned an item, and the first time I've ever rated anything one star. Let the magnitude of that sink in.

Love watching YouTube in VR! Easy to set up, works with most phones
I've always known YouTube VR videos were a thing, but I've never given them a shot. It never seemed worthwhile to set up the PSVR for it, and it never crossed my mind to load up some videos after playing a game. This device makes it so easy, and I can leave it on the TV stand and pick up whenever I feel like watching! Specifically, I've enjoyed watching VR videos from amusement parks and amusement park rides. You don't usually get a 360-degree view while riding a roller coaster, but with this, you do! I use my iPhone 7 Plus which is LARGE and it still fits just fine in the system - there's a spring-loaded arm that holds your phone snugly in place, so smaller phones would fit just as well. Tips: - Boot up your VR video/game before inserting your phone so that you know where the center line is - remove any phone cases before inserting your phone - use the included foam pads if any buttons are being pressed when your phone is placed in the device - once everything is booted up, put the advice on and spend some time adjusting the lenses using the easy adjustments on the top of the headset - try moving them side to side and back and forth until you have the clearest and most comfortable picture you can. If everything isn't in-focus, it can really break the illusion. If I were to dock this set for anything, I'd say that the comfort level could be slightly improved with a foam pad attached to the plastic piece that goes around the back of your head. After an extended period it becomes a bit noticeable, probably particularly so for me because my phone is so heavy. I'm attaching some pictures with my review that show the headset, including the sliding tray in which you would insert your phone. Unfortunately, using my phone to take these pictures, I was unable to completely demonstrate. Hope they still make sense!

Uncomfortable and has no remote!
It does /technically/ work, I bought it to watch VR videos on youtube, and it does have lenses that let you look at the video. That’s pretty much the only good thing about it, though. It’s out of focus for me, and I think it’s because it’s really difficult to adjust the forward/backwards lens positions because the mechanism requires a lot of force to move. And when you do finally manage to move it, it either slides all the way back or all the way forwards. It’s really difficult to get it somewhere in the middle, especially when you’re wearing it. But if you aren’t wearing it, you can’t see how it looks... Side to side is fine though, it’s easy to adjust. I just don’t understand why the forwards/backwards mechanism can’t be like that too. Honestly though, the main problem is that it doesn’t come with a remote!! I admit that I probably should have checked for that before I bought it, but now that I have it in my hands it seems so essential that I don’t know why they’re even available without a remote. You have to take the phone out of the headset in order to interact with anything. And then you end up missing the first bit of the video. You also can’t adjust the volume without taking the phone out. The last problem is that the phone makes it super heavy, and all of the weight is balanced on the bridge of your nose! (Granted, I have a big phone, but still!) The straps aren't really strong enough to hold it up. It’s immediately super uncomfortable and there isn't any padding on the nose part, even though there /is/ padding where it meets your face.... So why wouldn’t there be nose padding..? It just doesn’t make sense to me. I really wanted to like this, but it’s just frustrating. :/

Perfect for newbies
This is great VR headset for the price!! It is extremely easy to use right out of the box which was amazing because I was new to VR. The viewing experience is very high quality. The headset is very comfortable for long wear and easily adjustable to get the right fit. Putting my iPhone 6 in was a breeze, and the stick that it came with was really helpful. The apps and content that they recommend are amazing The design is sleek and sexy and the unit feels very durable and well made which I appreciate. I only wish it came with a remote like some other sets. All in all however, this is a great performing VR headset at this price point and would be an excellent place to start for someone who is new to VR. I recommend!

Works, but beware a couple of issues
Bought this for the kids to go do some virtual tours during the Corona lockdown with a spare phone I had (Samsung S7 Edge). It works fine, you put the phone in a chassis as slide it into the headset, but it has one main problem. If your phone buttons are on the side as mine are (volume +/- on one side, power on the other) then the design of the unit means that the buttons are pressed as soon as you put the phone into the chassis. I glued a couple of inserts into the chassis to create a small notch for the buttons, and once thats done the buttons aren't activated and it behaves itself. Overall very good headset and if they solved that button problem it'd get 5 stars.

Excellect quality with ease of use with Android and Apple
My husband has had hours of fun with this as I purchased it as a Christmas present for him Its compatable with a variety of phones and much better quality than one we bought a few years ago, I was doubtful this would be any good but was so glad I decided to give this one a go. It's very good value for money so pleased I bought this. It fitted very comfortably on my the head and nice and comfy to wear for lengthy periods which is lucky as my husband is likely to use this for several hours at a time. It was delivered really quickly even during the busy Christmas period and it was nicely packaged so will look great as a Christmas gift. The headset itself is of nice quality with a glossy finish and the blue gives it an extra touch making it look a much better quality item than a plain black one. Extra pads were also provided for getting the perfect fit which would come in handy if giving to a young teenager maybe. This has been tried this on android phone as well as an Apple and it was really easy to set up with both platforms. I was expecting it to be quite a complicated procedure to set up but it comes with very good instructions and was really easy to get going, it only took a matter of a few minutes to get it all up and running which was very impressive.
