These boxes are actually 12x12x12.5. This is a big deal if you're shipping items in them. The extra half inch can result in a huge increase in shipping cost - up to $15 or more per package. I had to modify every single box to avoid getting upcharged by USPS.

I've been using these 12x12x12 boxes for almost a year and when sending a shipment out today for some reason the post office decided to measure the box. Turns out the box is not 12x12x12 which is printed on the bottom of the box they are closer to 13x12x12. That extra inch doubled my shipping cost. Because my customer had already paid the shipping based on the size and weight that extra cost is a total loss to me. Irritated...heck yes! So although they are pretty, easy to use and what I thought was a great value the inability for someone to create a box to their own specification results in a one star rating.

these are supposed to be 12x12x12 - I received charge backs from USPS as the boxes actually measure 12.5 x 12 x 12 - the 1/2 inch has cost be a ton in fees which many times is more than the actual shipping cost

I'm an Etsy seller and use these to ship my pottery. These come out to under $1 a box so it's well within my budget for packing/shipping. Good quality and all boxes in the pack are useable.

We turned these into blocks for our baby shower! They were used as centerpieces and additional decor on on various tables. They were good quality & inexpensive! We received several compliments on them!

The dimensions says 12x12x12, but it's closer to 12.5x12.5x12.5. The post office won't ship them as 12". That's 3x the postage!

These boxes arrived in plastic, but some of the boxes were oil-stained and all of them were dirty. They weren't used, but it looks like they had been sitting in a dirty warehouse for years. They look clean until you touch them and your hand gets dirty. I bought them to move my belongings, but I can't put my things in these dirty boxes.I wanted to return them, but I have no way to package them back up (I cut the plastic off) and the UPS won't pick them up if they're not wrapped in plastic and rope. Even if I could strap them together, it would be too huge to fit into my car, so I am stuck with these dirty boxes that I will have to take to be recycled a few at a time. I spent over $100 on dirty boxes that I can't use and I am stuck recycling.

I used these to ship my heavy stuff during a move using the UPS flat rate. So full of my heaviest items. They’re thinner boxes but with a full wrap of packing tape in both directions they held. One wrap in the blue direction for the flaps, and another in the pink around the box since it’s held together in the direction only with glue.Shipped like this I was even able to reuse a few.
