Genuine Cowhide Rug 6x6-7 ft, 100% Real Cow Hide (Taupe)

I was hesitant to purchase this because I usually only buy from sellers that have a more liberal return policy, just in case. However, the price was right, and the color appeared, in the photo, to be just what I was looking for. I figured I would take a chance and was VERY pleasantly surprised. The hide is good quality, generously sized (maybe even a big larger than described), and an absolutely gorgeous creamy color. These arrive folded quite small and become creased as a result. After a quick google search I learned that these creases come out easily with a quick ironing (on cotton setting through a wet tea towel).

Very high quality. I love it!

Beautiful cowhides. I bought 2 of the 6x6,7 and one was cut bigger than the other. But they are beautiful and I’d buy from them again. The colors were vibrant . One was stamped made in Brazil and the other one wasn’t which disappointed me.. Also this is shipped by Amazon and I don’t think they know which length is which or which color is light and which is Taupe. The first time I ordered I think they sent me the light one and I ordered the darker one and possibly when they sent me the replacement they sent me the larger one instead of the smaller one. I could see how they could mix it up because there is nothing on the packaging that tells you the color or the size so you might have to order multiple times to get it right but nonetheless it is a beautiful quality piece.

Absolutely JUST what I was looking for in the correct size and for the best price I could find! It’s thin, but that’s what you would expect in a cowhide. Our front door sits very low to the ground since we had our new wood floors installed, but this allows for perfect clearance in our case. It’s very soft, and look at that sheen! Absolutely stunning. No problems vacuuming over it and no shedding. This wasn’t the first hide I purchased, but it will be the last for this space. It’s still working out it’s creases a week later, but the color is exactly as described, and I love the little white “star“ characteristic of our hide. It has a good weight to it even though it is thin. I don’t even have to put a rug pad underneath to prevent it from slipping since the suede does that naturally! I would absolutely purchase from this supplier again!

I’m so stoked I bought this. It’s actually more beautiful in person. Definitely has an odor to it, I imagine from the tanning process. It’s been a couple of days and it’s certainly gotten better, but I wish we had a garage type space to let it air out. It came in a rather small box and I was worried it would be creased, but to my pleasant surprise it smoothed right out. Definitely lays flat and is heavy enough I don’t think we’ll be tripping over it. Excited to put this in our weekend lake house.

The color was exactly as shown. It is styled on top of a printed rug and looks awesome. The price is great for such a fine cowhide rug, in stores they go for hundreds more. I will be buying another one for another room. Thanks for such a fine product!🥰

Beautiful rug, just to flat.

Steve’s wife here… We purchased the ‘Animal Shape’ rug in the 6x7 a year ago and it has held up well in our Airbnb. It has a cute butt swirl (whorl or cowlick) on the actual rug, making it authentic.

Merci encore!

Perfect and beautiful
