180 Flame Camp Stove Stainless Steel U.S.A. Made

Fantastic little piece of kit. Replaced a taller stove by a different company, but with the same concept. I like this one much better: long and low, MUCH easier to feed twigs into -- even large ones -- much more stable for my billy pot. And it drafts exceptionally well. Even the slightest breeze turns it into a small-scale furnace. I've only fired it up a few times, and cooked on it so far only once. But all those times were easy (I'm an experienced fire builder). So far, in good weather, with dry wood, I can have a set of cooking coals going within 10 minutes. Once that happens, I can boil a liter of water a bit faster than I used to with white gas in a backpacking stove. Another plus: a load of wood lasts a LONG time, unlike my previous one that required nearly constant attention. Plus, after cooking is done, I can keep this puppy going until it's time to hit the hammock for sleep. It's like sitting in front of a mini-wood stove: lots of heat even on a chilly night. I give this stove my highest recommendation.

Worked pretty good. Its hard to start a fire inside of so probably better to start the fire then set on top.

Only used it once so far. Blew my mind how fast I got to a rolling boil. Will say if you get this bring something to wipe the soot off with when your done. Otherwise it's a great product.

I really like my 180 Flame! I already owned the 180 Stove and wanted something more suited to a smaller diameter pot; specifically, a coffee percolator. It is light weight but, very sturdy. and is perfect for my applications.

Used it about eight times and it works well with kindling and my fancy heat and I'm assuming it will also work well with my alcohol stove.
