I bought it for someone as a birthday gift and she loves it

This Sunmei women's quartz watch is in a classic style, yet still right up-to-date, and carries the Fovicn name on it's face. This smart ladies watch actually looks better in real life than it does in the illustrations, and although a simple design the build quality is good for the price. You will obviously pay quite a bit less for a Chinese watch against one made in Switzerland for example, but you can still get a decent product for your money and this budget model from Sunmei actually features a Japanese quartz movement. This model has an uncluttered black face with a starry-night pattern and simple markers instead of numerals – it has a second hand but no day/date window. This watch is supposed to be water resistant to 30 metres but as it is not suitable wearing when swimming I would treat it as just spash-resistant. This is an attractive watch with a mineral crystal lens and a stainless-steel adjustable band – the bezel and strap have a rose-gold colour finish. This is a rather large watch with few features that comes nicely presented in a plain gift box making it perfect for giving. It is a classic design that my wife loves to wear – however it is quite a large watch for a woman, with a case diameter of 30 millimetres and a band-width of 13 millimetres. At well under twenty-five pounds currently from Amazon this is good value for the design and build quality and is a nice stylish watch with a decent build quality for the price.

This watch is really irritating. I was attracted to it by its gorgeous starry watch face and rose gold straps, but it’s let down because of a simple mechanism issue. The watch was quite big in the strap for me so we were able to move the clasp with the small screwdriver that was included. However, it was quite a tricky task and it took my brother-in-law the best part of an hour to do this. And then it’s quite hard to clip the clasp into place – three different moves in order to put it on. I kept struggling to do it and even had to get my husband to unclasp it every night! I find it it’s really fiddly to put on and off and for that reason I don’t wear it as much as I would like. It seems unnecessarily complicated.The watch face isn’t too big. It is a really nice watch, quite blingy and noticeable, and it’s easy to tell the time on it. But overall because of the clasp issue, I don’t wear it as much as I would. Not bad for the price but if you’re a dab hand at awkward clasps, then it could be one for you.

Appearance - this is a very attractive, stylish watch. I don't usually go for gold and sparkly watches, but this is actually quite tasteful. The starry sky effect on the dial is particularly pretty.The fit - I knew this wasn't a dainty watch, but I didn't realise it would be almost as wide as my wrist. It looked like a man's watch on me. The strap is far too long for me and it therefore meant I had a double layer of straps around part of my wrist which made it very stiff.Adjusting the watch - I actually found it really difficult to do. You get a screwdriver with the watch, but the booklet mentions using the forked end and mine definitely didn't have that. Once you get the clasp in the right position you have to push it down and it does require a fair bit of force. The problem I had was the clasp would move every time I tried this so another pair of hands would have been useful.If you are a lady with larger wrists this may be the watch for you, but if you have smaller wrists I would opt for a watch with removable links.

Very pretty watch that has a face that looks like the night sky, all starry. It was much better in person than the pictures. I really like the wide and quite large clock face and it has a sturdy strap too. Apparently it's waterproof, but I haven't tested that, I am always to scared to when I love a watch as much as I do this one!!!

Most traditional women’s watches are very small faced, this particular watch has a larger face than is usual but still looks elegant and feminine. It could be used as an everyday and formal watch. Its bracelet is a good serviceable length, it can be worn in the shower and its face is very attractive (if you like sparkles that is). It also has a seconds hand and keeps very good time.All in all a very nice watch which comes in an attractive gift box. Another plus is that it comes with a small screwdriver for alterations if needed.

This is a lovely watch and very unusual. It is in rose-coloured gold and has a metal chain bracelet. The face is a good size, by no means small, and has lots of iridescent twinkles on a bluey-black background. It looks very elegant and modern and would be perfect for evening wear. Comes in a black presentation box. It has a tiny screwdriver in the box for altering the length of the metal strap, but I haven't quite worked out how to do that yet.
