Love the colors. Bright and vivid and a nice range. My only wish for these is that I could customize where the colors so I could make each layer my own creations needs. Oh well. The blues are my favorite!!

I bought these to use as I taught an watercolor abstract art class, we learned to paint pebbles. Having these small palettes of various complementary colors allowed me to give each student a variety of color options but everyone had different combinations. The paint is student quality, so a bit grainy and less pigmented than professional watercolors, but that's expected.

I'm just happy this was all in one piece! After reading horror stories about broken up watercolors & cases. Didn't realize when I purchased these they were shipped from Poland! Box was crushed badly, so I was surprised that it was all intact, none broken! And for what they are & the price, they are great. Just be sure to use enough water. These are dye based, not pigment based like my other watercolors so they react a little differently, but I'm also using them to paint yarn for weaving special effects. Very happy, there are even the 3 Basic metallics!

These are very...different. the best way to describe them is how some YouTube put it, like ink. These are very transparent and highly pigmented due to the dye based material. They are ideal for layering and drying really fast. These don't exactly behave like watercolors normally would? And that's why I don't think they're beginner friendly. This is a very unique set, like dried ink that can be reactivated. I wish these werent a stackable design, kinda wish I could use all my colors all at once in front of me, but I guess it's part of its charm? I'm excited to use these for inktober this year as they seem to be ideal for going over linework.

I’ve used these watercolors before and loved the colors and convenience. The quality is better than average cake watercolors, warranting the higher price than many other cake watercolors. I’d purchased my previous set at the AdornIt factory store in Utah so it was in perfect condition. I was excited to find this set on Amazon with even more colors and direct shipping, but never considered that it would be shipped in a very thin bubble mailer with absolutely no protective packaging. While broken paint cakes do not affect the use of the paints, I’m very unhappy about the lid and request a replacement please.

I love these. Would not use them for archival work but for fun and journaling they are great. Grandkid’s love them too. Good value for the money.

Gute Farbauswahl, aber sehr flache Farbnäpfchen. Ich war schon etwas überrascht, wie klein dieses Farbrondell ist, immerhin sind es mehrere Etagen. Die Farbnäpfchen selbst sind dadurch natürlich besinders Flach, also ist dieser Farbkasten eher nicht für große Plakatprojekte geeignet. Die Farbzusammenstellung je Scheibe ist scheinbar etwas willkürlich. Ich nehme aber an, das kommt daher dass dieser Koh-I-Noor-Farbkasten in verschiedenen Ausführungen zu haben ist. (4er, 6er, 8er usw. und sich die Zusammenstellung so erleichtert) Ich habe mir eine Farbkarte angeertigt, denn die Farben wirken auf dem Papier anders. Aquarellfarben sind es eher nicht, Wasserfarben mit verschieden starker Pigmentierung trifft es eher.
