Avery GHG Universal Motion Stakes-12ct

I used these last week on my shells. I drilled my holes using a head on each shell and marked it to make sure the center and tilt was correct. They fit well and were easy to put in the ground. I used a rubber mallet in near frozen ground and the stakes didnt splinter or shatter at all.I only gave 4 starts because some of the spring assemblies were not sutck fast to the rod which is fiberglass. So once or twice the spring kind of shot off when i was putting the shell on and missed the hole. but I bought 2 dozen and will continue to sue them. I do not know how well the fiberglass rods will do in truly frozen ground. But I had a big stake ready to prep the hole.

Good product so far based on 6 hunts this season. Would definitely recommend a mallet or hammer if you’re trying to place these into frozen ground. Also, would recommend picking up a roll of reflective tape to place just under the top so you can see them in the dark when setting up the spread.

The media could not be loaded.  Seems pretty sturdy. I do Recommend adding some kind of reflective tape under the Spring so you can find it if you remove the decoy.

Not as good as the originals because the top moved down because the glue gives easily. Not a big deal because I wrap a piece of reflective vinyl around the shaft so I can find the stake before sun up to but the decoy on. Hidden after you put the decoy on stake.

These are longer than your typical motion stakes that come with goose shells in a combo. They are sturdy. However, some of the springs have come loose from the plastic rings on 2. I fixed it by using my own silicone glue. Other than that they work great.

A friend has some of these and uses them to good effect. Will do the same when I find some of the right goose decoy shells. Gives decoys just that right "wiggle" with a little breeze. Don't work so well in winds at 12+ mph but are adaptable

They work great in the slightest wind. Poles could be made a little stonger ( I uses in rocky areas) but overall a great product.
