It’s a hit!
Our big orange boy cat loves it! He kicked it and rolled it around from the second it was unpacked and catnip added. We were skeptical because he’s not a big toy user - but he loves this kicker! I chose the denim because it looked like the fabric is a little thicker and it feels very sturdy. First thing this morning, he dragged it out to play all on his own and then we found him sleeping with it. A really nice surprise!

Strong Catnip but Lasts Only a Little While
Coming in the package, this toy was definitely filled with very strong catnip as my cat instantly took a liking to it. She played with the toy for over half an hour the second it arrived in the mail. The toy itself is simple yet great since it allows cats to kick and bite at the same time. However, after the catnip wore off, my cat immediately lost all interest and doesn't really play with it anymore. That's not a fault on the developers (my cat only has an interest in plush toys when there's catnip involved), however, I do wish that they made the "refillable catnip pocket" more refillable than just a super tight pocket to keep stuffing catnip into. Due to this design, it's incredibly difficult to replace the catnip, you just have to keep stuffing the pocket with new catnip and hope it's not too full to spill out. It's practically impossible to remove the old catnip and the toy itself cannot be opened and closed shut. The pocket is literally a pocket with no proper way to shut it. That's the only downside, really. Other than that, the toy did exactly what it was advertised to do and even came with a little baggie of extra catnip.

Perfect size
This is the perfect size for my cat. And I don’t know what kind of catnip they put in it but my cat looooves it!! His favorite toy!

Cats are not easily fooled nor are they easily appeased with toys
There isn't anything terribly wrong with the toy. The aroma of cat nip was moderately noticeable upon opening the bag. The material / fabric isn't sufficiently interesting to our cat. I covered it in a sock an added more catnip (included) inside the sock. This improved the interest of our cat and moved it up one notch from complete disinterest. Real prey moves. This toy did not prove to be a substitute for play prey sneak attacks on my stocking feet.

My senior cats love it!
The media could not be loaded. We adopted a couple of senior cats that are quite inactive. We’ve bought the several catnip toys. They like them, but they seemed to like to hold them with their front paws and kick them with the back paws. Problem was that they’re declawed on all 4 and when they’d kick the toy would fly away and they didn’t seem to interested in chasing after it. I got this and problem solved. They can hold it with their front paws and kick with the rear and keep it under control. If it comes loose it doesn’t go far. I’ve seen others comment that it’s not durable. It’s holding up well for my clawless cats. I’m sure others are having issues because their cats claws are sharp and untrimmed. The denim one is supposed to be the most durable. I just bought one for my daughter’s cats who are very active and have very sharp claws… I’ll provide feedback after they have a couple months to work on it.

Very difficult to insert catnip
The media could not be loaded. This product is well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that the it’s very difficult to insert the catnip; I suppose this is necessary, however, to keep it from falling out.

Cats thought the package was addressed to them!
I'd barely set the plastic bag package down before I had a cat start to rub their head all over it and sniff it intently, so I had a pretty good guess that the contents weren't for me. With four cats, I had quite a difficult time figuring out how I was going to go about inserting the catnip into the pocket, as they were milling about, rubbing my legs and meowing. It is some potent catnip, I must say, if they sniff the spot where I'd briefly set the package down on a table then flop over in drugged-out joy, or whatever it is. At first, I thought I'd try to poke some needle holes in the plastic bag holding the catnip, but I have two young males that play aggressively and didn't want them to chew or claw the bag out and scatter the catnip hither and thither all over my hardwood. So I poured half the 'nip into small semiprecious stones bag and tied it closed, confident in its security. The new bag hasn't affected their enjoyment in the least. My cats are two pairs of siblings aged 17 years and 2 years; the 2 year olds go nuts over it and completely ignore the Kong kicker I bought for them, my older female licks, grasps, rubs her head, flops over, and otherwise displays her clear enjoyment of it, and the older male has the attention span of a gnat and simply sniffs, nudges and licks it. It's so cute to watch the younger ones take one sniff and fall over bonelessly, one right after the other. Cats are so weird. This kicker is hands down a fan favorite.
