CAP Strength Hyperextension/Ab Bench, Black

Not easy to put together and my boyfriend had to do it but it’s a great bench for the money!! Not super sturdy but will absolutely do for me and my clients. Very excited

There is a whole that may be backwards, but overall the bench is excellent. The product is is great quality for the price.

Purchased during sale event and I am sorely disappointed. The build quality isn’t the best and every single moving part is wobbly/loose/unsteady/unstable. There were no missing pieces, but one of the provided locking nuts did not align properly with its assigned bolt and could not be used at all. The removable pins keep the unit in fixed positions, but they all sit loosely in their respective places. I can’t recommend this item.

This works great as a compact option for both abs and hyperextension. It's also easy to fold up and pack in the closet if that's your thing. I didn't feel like spending double the price on the next similar thing, so I went with this despite the reviews and while I understand them, any workout gear you buy on Amazon is going to require assembly. I thought this was pretty easy honestly. It does have the usual give/slight wobble of most at-home workout benches at this price point, but it seems sturdy to me, a 200 lb male. Just make sure you you TIGHTEN those bolts, and it's solid.

Bought this because it was on the cheaper side and had the hyper extension feature. While unpacking it noticed a couple of terrible welds on the connection between the bench and support leg. It was already rusted. And the welds were only partially along the lengths of the plates. Why not weld the whole edge? Looked it over and there were numerous “partial” welds that look like they should have been all the way around. Got it put together and feels sketchy as hell. Tried the hyperextension and feels unstable and weak. Bench seems ok but will see. Would send it back but hardly worth the hassle. See how long till it breaks. Bought bench rack from another company to go with this bench and it is solid! Should have bought bench from them too. Expected better from CAP

Love this bench. My only complaint is that the only way to attach the top piece (with the pads) is by a pin and it is not the sturdiest. Aside from that, it does what I need it to and is perfect for at home workouts.

This is a great bench. Sturdy, easy to put together, and a nice product. The only potential downfall is that the bench is shorter than what I find in a gym. Not a huge deal for me as I am 5' 7", but it could be an issue for someone who is taller and wishes to lie down on the bench to work out. I can still lie down on it, but there is nothing extra beyond my head or my butt when I lie down to bench press, for example. Again, not a big deal for me...it's a great bench. It's perfect for me!

Very small to use as a standard bench, also lightly built. Anyone over 150lbs would not feel safe using. The decline is nice and has been solid so far but the single pin makes me uneasy every time. I would not use this to bench press. Spend more money on a better bench to save in the long run not buying two!

Have been using this for over two weeks now. This is exactly what we needed and wanted for our exercise room. We considered buying this one or another similar model which was much more expensive. Once we put together (very quickly) we learned that it was extremely sturdy and easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

Fácil de armar solo que no atornilla. Bien todas las piezas hay tornillos muy grandes. Para personas bajitas y que no pesa. Tanto esta muy bien pero si eres alto o tienes sobrepeso recomiendo un aparato más estable porque es de mírame y no me toques... no se siente que estable.

Easy to setup. However, one of the holes was facing the wrong way. For this reason, I wasn't able to use all the screws to secure the base. Still feels secure and sturdy enough for a home gym bench.

This is a great bench to work abs and hyperextender for back. Best of both worlds in one.
