would that replace 697203

I have 2005 18hp OHV Intek engine and 697203 is actually stamped on the carburetor. So it's hard to say it's invalid part number. So doe sit replace that carb or not? Sears says replacement part is 594593 yet, again, 697203 is clearly stamped on carb. Thank you

Eng. give the name Horsepower and then you got a find out if it’s a upflow carburetor or not mine was and I didn’t know it’s a process you gotta go through but that’s what you Gotta do in order to find the right carburetor for it I went through through them before I got the ones I needed but that’s before doing what I did

Fitted and worked well.

Fitted straight onto an 18.5hp Briggs in a Cub Cadet 1018 42" replacing a Walbro and worked like a charm with no adjustments necessary. Hasn't idled and run this good for 10yrs. Edit. 4yrs later and still works like new.

its hit or miss on aftermarket parts

After 3 aftermarket carburetors I decided to spend the money on the Briggs & Stratton oem carburetor and what a difference my 2007 huskee LT 4200 with a 16.5 HP engine, it runs like it should, it idles, no more running like crap. this carburetor is worth the money
