Good product, smooth rope tangle resistant, the weight and size is ample to throw or launch and slick enough not to get caught up in the branches.

Aborist throw line is helping me install lights in trees using my arborist cannon I made. The weight is a nice size and heft so the line slides through the canopy nicely. The bag is starting to fray a bit. Hopefully it will last.

Throw line and weight worked as expected. I’m new to this, did manage to get the weight wrapped around a small limb when I pulled it up too fast to retrieve it, ended up using a weight bag from a rope saw kit which was not as nice. I’d suggest ordering two weight bags for this type of scenario. I would have liked some type of reel handle like on a fishing pole reel to rewind the throw line on the spool without adding twists to the line.

Great product

No more climbing trees or using a ladder to get a rope around a tree before cutting it down. This simple weighted bag and the rope are all you'll need. I've used this many times when felling trees and it's so much quicker and easier than climbing. Tie the small rope to the bag and throw it over a limb. Then untie the weight bag and tie the small rope to your felling rope and pull it up. Really makes life a lot easier. The bag has a nice weight to it which makes it easier to throw it up higher in the tree.

The throw line is faulty and snaps in the tree.

not as well made as the top brands.No loop on the bottom of the bag and the steel ring is to small. it gets stuck in a friction saver ring.

Good throw ball and line is reasonably well at avoiding self tangling.
