Hamilton Beach Professional 7-Speed Digital Electric Hand Mixer

I love this new mixer and felt the low speed to work just fine. Glad I bought it after reading all the negative reviews about the low speed.

This mixer is small and very powerful. It does everything I want it to do.

Great mixer. Haven’t baked yet with it but it made delicious mashed potatoes.

So far I’m liking this mixer which replaced my old Cuisinart mixer. I have mixed double batch of banana nut bread, German chocolate cake and icing and pound cake. Have not tried thick cookie dough yet. As with any hand mixer the beaters are shorter than a stand mixer. I adjust by using a wide, large stainless bowl. The slow speed start function is great. It is quiet and believe it will be powerful enough for my needs. I would prefer the blades not to be covered in silicone, but can live with it. Like the storage container to keep all attachments together! Con is that it has to be propped on the bowl as it is hard to balance with the power cord where it is. Would give it 5 stars if it came with steel blades that were a bit longer. Good value.

I haven't used this very many times as I just got it, but I can honestly say I was impressed w/the first use. I paid more than for previous mixers, but, so far, I think it was worth it. Other mixers had 3 speeds w/low being the lowest, which was anything but slow. They sent a dust cloud of dry ingredients all over. This mixer's low is actually slow & can mix dry ingredients without sending dust all over the counter and everything nearby. I wasn't sure I'd like the coating on the beaters. I've had some before & didn't like them, but the coating is a littler thicker than others I've had and work nicely. The beaters eject easily with the lever. I haven't tried the hooks (probably won't ever use them) and whisk that came with it yet. The storage case leaves a lot to be desired tho. It's convenient to pull the mixer out & have everything with it, but I struggle to unsnap it from the storage case & put it back on. I have arthritic hands making it a bit of a challenge, & I'm also afraid it's going to snap & break. I'm not knocking a star off for that. I'm rating the mixer, not the storage case.

Just used my mixer. Works great. Like the beaters. Made a carrot cake. Easy to use.

Great mixer I would give it a 5 but sure enough when you do they raise the price. It is quiet and it is fast .. It does not splatter all over on 1. I really love it. I hope by giving such a good review will not up the price. JS from Tx

I'd read several negative reviews on this, but wanted to try it for myself. I'm glad I did. It's quiet, easy to hold, doesn't scratch up the bowl, whether glass or metal, and includes very handy attachments. I don't do the homemade bread thing (yet), but hope to get time soon to do so and see how it works. Everything else I've done with it, it seems to have plenty of power. I have a 44-yr old Hamilton Beach that still works just fine - it's quite a bit louder than my new one (has always been loud), but I wanted something that was rubberized. I LOVE, also, that it doesn't sling batter. Nice to have the accessory-holder that the mixer snaps down into. My only complaint is that the power cord is not detachable, unlike my 44-yr old Hamilton Beach. HB should consider reverting back to detachable power cords! But still, a nice little mixer.

Needed a new mixer as my the beaters wouldn't stay in my old one. Love the ability to store the attachments with the mixer so no more hunting around to find the attachments! Works really well on mashed potatoes and whipping cream (which is all I have used it for so far) It was a little more pricey than other brands but I think it was worth it as the beaters are substantial and thick so it works far better than my old one.

Our 40 year old mixer eventually died, so we purchased another brand, more expensive than this one, and hated the low speed of it, as it was still way too fast and always madeca mess, but it only lasted about a year, which in a way was a blessing, and it ended up in the garbage. So we purchased this Hamilton Beach mixer. Starts off nice and slow, which prevents redecorating the walls with batter. Very quiet, with various speeds, and not too heavy. Sits well on counter, and the electric chord, although a bit stiff, can be adjusted to go to the left/or the right, allowing the mixer to sit properly with the beaters attached. I hope it lasts as longer than the last one purchased, but most things today are not built like the old days, so we'll have to wait and see what the verdict is on this one. So far I'm extremely happy with it. I will edit my review if this one doesn't last at least 5 years. Right now, I'd have to say I love everything about this mixer.

Batedeira hamilton beach, Muito bonita, potencia fraca. Tenho outra de fabricação brasileira bem inferior e com uma potência absurda.

I really like most features of this mixer, attachments with holder. What person does not love to lick the blender off after whipping. As much as I enjoy the rubber cover they have a terrible taste. A GOOD MOTHER LETS YOU LICK THE BEATERS, A GREAT MOTHER TURNS THEM OFF.
