Nice quality elbow length gloves. I bought a pair for my auto mechanic who needed something to cover his arms when handling a hot motor-in this case it was an A/C compressor in a hot car (too long to explain why it was hot). I, without intending, have earned his gratitude forever. Everyone's happy! These gloves of course have thick fingers so can't maneuver small items. Keep that in mind when buying. Great for BBQ's, deep pizza ovens, anything that requires reaching into hot.

I bought this bc my wife kept burning her forearms in the oven. They come up the whole way up my wife's arms. She will never get burnt again.

Unlike some other oven mits that are advertised as "long," these are actually long. They're also nice and thick, well-insulated, and have the silicon to keep things from slipping out of your hands. Maybe for some people these would seem like overkill, but when you've been burned (literally) in the past, these make cooking a much better experience.

I purchased these oven gloves because my old fabric ones were worn and I burned myself taking my turkey out of the oven on Thanksgiving. I have had an opportunity to use these new gloves a few times and they are by far the best ones I have ever owned. I'm 52 and have owned quite a few gloves. They are superior. I am petite so they go all the way up to my elbows and my hands are small. My husband has larger hands and while the gloves fit him, they are quite snug on him but on my smaller hands, they are perfect. They have small nubs on the hands to provide grip which I LOVE. I was nervous about using something that seems like rubber in the oven but they are heat resistant silicone. I feel zero heat with these gloves. I intend to buy a pair for my daughter who is getting married soon. Definitely worth every penny.
