SLR TM Superflow

This is the only saddle I buy now for my road bikes, and I also use a Sella Italia gravel saddle for my gravel bike. I prefer the titanium rail version, but they are all excellent. Extremely comfortable, or at least as comfortable as a bike saddle can be.

So, yes, it is hard. That is actually good. It hurts my ischial tuberosities because I haven't been riding in a long time. That said, even though that area was sensitive after the first ride, each subsequent ride it settles down and hurts less and less. I did still have some genital numbness on the first ride, but after that, I have not gone numb. I think this is going to be a good working solution to the problem I was having. It's just going to take some getting used to.

Be sure of the return policy, as if the saddle doesn't fit you, it must be returnable. I trialed 7 saddles this summer before finding the one that fit. On this one it took a 60 mile ride to realize that going over 50 miles was very uncomfortable. (I ride centuries annually). I found that some local bike co-ops and used outdoor gear stores have used seats, which is a great way to try out different styles and brands. Ended up with a $150 Specialized saddle, bought used for $10. PATIENCE is the key. Be sure to trial the saddle on the longest ride you normally do.

First, let me get one thing on the table here. This is a hard saddle. Which is EXACTLY what I wanted! Why do I want a really hard saddle? Because I want the saddle to conform to my anatomical parts. Then I'm going to use some top quality bibs to provide the necessary cushion. I used the sizing tool on their website and ordered the wider side. Definitely a good call on my part. If I had any complaint it's that the back of the saddle curves down a little more on either side than I would prefer. My preference is a much flatter surface at the back of the saddle. But this hasn't posed a major issue for me and I've not felt any need to change out for another saddle at this point.

I've owned a couple of Selle Italia's saddles, and really like their construction, quality and design. I started training more indoors recently because via winter, and kept having numbness issues even with a partial cut out saddle I own from Selle. I bought this hoping it would work better, but I found though numbness was reduced, it still occurred too much. I discovered the front of the saddle area that wasn't cut out is where the main pressure and then numbness was coming from for me. SecondlyI found the saddle too uncomfortable-sharp and painful on my inner thigh folds after 20-30 minutes. So it created that problem that I'd never had on my other saddle with less cut out. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Very comfortable. I have this saddle on my road bike. I have several bikes and might put this saddle on all of them. Comfortable for several hours in the saddle. The cut out relieves a lot of pressure and it’s not overly wide. Very happy with it.

This seat got rid of my numb spots. It is a little firm for a few days, but great overall. It took the place of my specialized seat and is better than the smp pro I used previously. My husband and I both are cyclists. He liked mine so much, that he got one too and he rides 7000/yr

J'ai changé ma selle pour cette selle Italia SLR Superflow-S3 noire , elle est un peu plus étroite et un peu plus dure que ma selle blanche précédente mais par contre son canal ajouré superflow est bien plus important , donc permet d'éviter les frottements et les douleurs sur les sorties longues . Pour ce qui est de la livraison : c'était au top , selle commandée le jeudi 2 janvier 2025 dans la journée et reçue le samedi 4 janvier 2025 à 12 h , je pense que l'on ne peut pas faire mieux !!
