Huge money saver for me
These are great. Easy,no maintenance. No misses. Gets them every time. I just empty the jar if needed, wash it out, and I am back in business. These are built to last for years. I could get 100's of catches with these, as opposed to the one catch and throw away traps on the market. Great price.

Head to head Kness vs Eaton wind-up multi-catch mouse trap
This is a head to head look at virtually the same trap manufactured by two different companys and in two different countries. This brand by Kness made in the USA and the Eaton brand made in China. Photos provided to aid in the comparison. WEIGHT Eaton (E): 1075g, Kness (K): 1181. One will note later that slight construction differences likely account for this difference in weight rather than a lighter weight material. The E material has a slightly different appearance but both appear to be identical otherwise. Corrosion inhabitancy between the two will need to be addressed at a later time. TOP VIEW: E has provided a viewing window allowing for a quick visual check of the trap. This is a very nice feature and scores a nod to E. This also removes some weight from the product as does additional air holes that we will see in the next photo. SIDE VIEW: virtually identical with the exception of additional and slightly larger air holes on the E brand. END VIEW: virtually identical. BOTTOM VIEW: E’S stamping is more defined and possesses crimping marks visible at the bottom of the photo. E’s design includes several crimped points. K’s has none. Note K’s also has added two holes the purpose of which is unclear. RELEASE END VIEW: E has an additional row of air holes that are again slightly larger. E also has a longer and slightly larger gauge handle. PRICE: at the time of this review (MAR2024) E priced at $25.79 while K priced at $29.93. IMPRESSIONS: Build, tolerances, features and price give the Eaton brand a slight advantage over Kness. At a later point I will review the operation of both unit after a period of usage. I surmise that there will be little to report as the internal workings appear to be 100% identical in design, material and quality. I hope this helps. The only reason I bought one of each brand was to determine exactly that which I have presented to you here. Tim

Great trap for multiple mice
I love this trap, it catches lots at a time. I have had 4 in there at a time. I live on 18 acres and have tons of field mice on my porch. This will help to control my population in no time. The only draw back is that they don't want to use the attachment and go into the jar. My husband has had to empty them out into a bucket.

Faulty spring system
This product is a great idea ... but FAILS soon because of weak spring system (plastic parts) that is designed to be triggered when mouse steps on leaver. This delicate spring results in mice getting caught pinched upon effort to exit. After just a few months the spring has failed and I can't tighten for next catch. Fix this spring and it would be a really good buy!

Catches lot's of mice. If you can place it correctly. And if you move it periodically.
I put one on the floor, behind some boxes, in my pantry and caught 5 mice in the first week. Unfortunately it hasn't caught any since. I also put one up in my attic. Unfortunately the previous home owner laid a wood floor over the ceiling trusses which prevents me from putting the trap directly on top of the ceiling sheet rock where the mice like to run so it hasn't caught any mice.

Top quality construction
Worked fine. I’ve been a bucke and rillervuser for thirty years.I like this slapping mice into seperate chamber, then they find their way into the jar filled with water.Only thing I need to do is adapt to a larger container for long periods away. The little jar was full with three mice.

Ketchuum
Havn't caught anything yet but that is acceptable. I have several traps set and trying to prevent critters seeking winter shelter under my abode. This trap is located between other snap traps and I am guessing critters just havn't gotten that far yet. I bought this trap specifically for those days my routine is interrupted and i didn't get to reset the snap traps.

Great trap!
Works great! I put it next to the duck feeder. I don’t have to worry about the ducks getting caught in it. It caught 8 mice the first night! Easy empty with the full jar into the compost heap. Add more water and all set for another night.
