Nice stand & color modes
This monitor has a nice looking stand. I was also considering a Samsung monitor with similar specs, but the Samsung has a silver space age style stand that would be distracting to look at all the time. The BenQ PD2700U has a beautiful minimalist physical design that keeps the attention on the screen. It has a thin bezel which is nice for a dual or triple monitor setup.I really like the low blue light color mode, and this is the mode I use most the time. On my previous monitors I had to manually change the color temp to a warmer tone. It’s nice to have a setting for this. The Bright Intelligence mode automatically adjusts the brightness of the monitor based on the ambient room light. This works very well, I love this feature! You can adjust the sensor sensitivity and choose whether to display the ambient light meter or not. This monitor supports HDR. I tried enabling HDR on Windows, but the Microsoft HDR implementation casts a dreary grey tone when using non-HDR applications (such as the web browser). Most of the monitor adjustment features are disabled when there is an HDR input signal. So I disabled HDR and use the regular color modes for now.As an interesting side note, I learned that BenQ makes many of the highly rated Dell monitors (I guess that’s why they look similar). This monitor comes with a color calibration report. Here are some photos of what it looks like to have two of the PD2700U monitors side-by-side.

Good monitor for a good price
I've been using this monitor for more than a year now and I can say that it's a very good monitor, almost great but couple of minor flaws don't let me call it that way. It is my first 4k monitor, previously I used only FullHD ones. But when I switched to MacBooks from windows laptops, I realized that MacBook + FullHD monitor is a shitty combination because of difference in picture quality. MacBooks have retina screens with high resolution and ppi. That's why I started to look for a 4K monitor which will play nicely with my MacBook and finally decided to purchase BenQ PD2700U.Pros:- great picture quality- not expensive- good build quality- a lot of ports on the backCons:- it's heavy- monitor stand is big and takes a lot of space on your table and if you don't have a deep table, consider purchasing a monitor arm- speakers are abysmal (this is expected, almost all monitor speakers sound like garbage)- don't have a usb-c cable included (you need to purchase an extra usb-c to hdmi or usb-c to display port cable, if you want to connect it to a MacBook)Overall it was a good experience and I noticed that my productivity increased when I started using a big monitor with good picture quality. I recommend this monitor to anyone who is looking for a not expensive 4K monitor with great picture quality.

PD2700U Rocks to my Favorite
Wow! - So, I have the Benq SW320 currently and had a PD3200U also in the past - the SW320 obviously is 32inch and about $1000 more in the price - but this 27" monitor is really awesome in quality. The SW320 I had set at HDR on all the time and it stuns, but this one I tried the HDR- and as it looks great - I choose to go with a user color. The Color really rocks, and whites are nice and crisp and the text is really great. I would say this comes close to being my favorite monitor- I can almost feel like ditching the others. So, about a year ago I purchased a couple of LG monitors 27" - and I was very impressed with the quality they had, but two things stuck out- as I had returned those- was they would leave an imprint/burn-in on black screens- and I was not going to take a chance on that again - and the quality of the monitor is a little weak. They are great monitors- and I know the color was good if not great on those also - but this monitor is just a pleasure to look at -I am very particular on color - whites especially - I don't like cream color - splotches of red or green in some areas of the screen- I am not seeing really anything like that here- everything stands out. Build quality is top-notch and (no dead pixels) - did the online test of pixel tests red/white/green/black screen - nothingColor bleed on blacks- looks to be what maybe others say - but I usually see that anyways on my other 2 4k monitors- I have the Benq SW320 and the LG UD99W (I believe the model is on that) - and they are stunning- but this is my favorite to work on currently -Those other LG monitors I had in the past I was worried about the small text- and not seeing everything- but the 27" brings the 4K directly within view to my eyes- and that makes me happy -Benq is also great with support- I would give them an A+ on issues with previous monitors- I don't know if I would have trusted a session with LG-Anyways- I really would like to pick up another one of these- and have 2 - so maybe in the future- or before they get trigger fingers and want to update this monitor- please keep it like it is- reviews were right on this one-Thanks Benq- WOW
