I bought this to replace a failed halogen unit and was a little sceptical that it would meet the challenge. My scepticism was totally unfounded as it provides an excellent field of cover with a very effective detection range far in excess of the original PIR device. The light quality is not as fierce as the halogen unit was but it certainly provides more than enough illumination for purpose. The mounting lugs seem slightly flimsy so I recommend using washers under the heads of the screws provided plus take care not to overtighten. I can't comment on durability as it's only been in place for a week. As for battery life, I have it set to motion detection only so I have no idea how long it would stay lit on the two 'on when dark' settings. Overall I would definitely buy again.

I am extremely inspired by solar energy products. Since my birthday, my parents bought a few solar panels. And at the moment I still use what's on renewable energy. This solar projector is located in front of the girder and is very pleased with it. My moment of doing makes her feel very good. The brightness is wonderful. The motion sensor reacts at a distance of 6 meters. Plastic material is great and the lights have a good brightness. Plus, the length of the projector is quite large.

Originally I positioned above my south facing garage door. Whilst amazingly bright they soon drain the battery over an evening even though they get reglar sunlight. The sensor is very sensitive and was constantly set off by pedestrians at the end of my 10m driveway and passing busses. The distance senstivity was eventually reduced by covering the upper part of the sensor with black tape. There are no other sensitivity or light level adjustment controls on this model. Eventually I got fed up with the 'close encounters of the 3rd kind' illumination effects at the slightest movements outside. I've now repositioned the lights facing down my side passage above my garden shed. This is good for charging as still south facing but is a perfect new location as it only detects unexpected movement coming towards it down a single width path. Our cat has also learned that it can switch on the lights on itself if it goes to sit outside at night. Finally all's well in LED land.

The solar light is really good when there has been plenty of sunshine; During the spring, summer & autumn it’s perfectly adequate and nice & bright, having had these up for the best part of 12 months, during the lower light winter days there’s not enough charge for the batteries to run for more than a couple of hours after dark. I’m going to see if I can replace the batteries so they last longer.

I purchased these solar lights for the side of my yard so it will light up when I walk down it. The light is easy to install and looks very good I like how bright it is and the range of the sensor is fantastic.

It's very bright! Brought this for my garden for some extra security/light as the garden is pitch black at night. Very easy to install, and the motion sensor works brilliantly. Didn't expect it to get this bright but was pleasantly surprised.

Worked well for 5 months and then failed. Is unit under warranty?

Initially pleased, very good for what I wanted it for but it only lasted 18-months before failing.

No es el primer foco solar LED que compro, pero sí es el mejor de ellos con diferencia. Funciona muy bien, tiene 3 modos de uso, siempre encendido, apagado que enciende al detectar movimiento y luz de poca intensidad que aumenta al detectar movimiento, yo lo utilizo en este último pues al vivir en una casa aislada me interesa que siempre haya algo de luz. Para mi cumple tres funciones importantísimas, da muy buena iluminación, proporciona seguridad gracias al sensor de movimiento, y es completamente gratuito y ecológico al funcionar de manera autónoma. Además cuenta con 119 led por lo que es uno de los más potentes que se comercializa. Muy recomendable.

Ottima lampada solare con una luminosità davvero notevole. La sto testando ormai da alcuni mesi e devo dire che funziona benissimo ed è perfettamente impermeabile così come indicato dalla descrizione (ha resistito tranquillamente a forti temporali continuativi per alcuni giorni senza risentirne). Arriva in una confezione al cui interno, oltre alla lampada stessa, ci sono le istruzioni per la selezione delle varie modalità di luce e le viti di fissaggio. Facilissima da installare e altrettanto facile capirne le modalità di illuminazione che sono ben 3 e che si selezionano con un pulsante manuale presente sul retro della lampada. In merito alle modalità di illuminazione, la prima è quella in cui la lampada si accende solo al rilevamento del movimento con luce alla massima intensità (si disattiva poi automaticamente dopo una 15ina di secondi se non è più rilevato alcun movimento); la seconda vede la lampada sempre accesa (fino all'esaurimento della carica) con luce di media intensità senza necessità di rilevare alcun movimento; infine con la terza modalità abbiamo la lampada sempre accesa con una luce fioca che, nel momento in cui si rileva del movimento, si intensifica fino alla sua massima luminosità per poi "riabbassare" la potenza a luce fioca quando smette di rilevare movimento; in più, indipendentemente dalla modalità scelta, la lampada si aziona solo al tramonto, grazie alla presenza del sensore crepuscolare. L'aspetto della lampada è lineare, il materiale di cui è fatta è plastica, ma di buona qualità ed ha una lunghezza di circa 30cm. Ciò che mi ha sorpreso del prodotto stesso è che, nonostante le dimensioni, la sua luminosità, soprattutto quella con potenza massima, è davvero ottima e potente ed è in grado di illuminare una zona abbastanza ampia permettendo anche un risparmio sulla bolletta grazie alla sua batteria solare. Insomma la consiglio per l'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consegna Amazon come sempre veloce ed affidabile.

Hallo Freunde heute berichte ich euch von meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen zu dieser Solarleuchte. Die Leuchte ist gedacht für den Garten. Da in der Hütte kein Stromanschluss existiert und dies die günstigste Variante ist den Weg dahin zu beleuchten, habe ich mich für diese Lösung entschieden. Das Produkt hat an sich nicht die beste Verarbeitung aber bei den Punkten auf die es ankommt macht es einen ziemlich guten Eindruck. Wenn man den Preis bedenkt ist das also für mich im Rahmen. Die Ausleuchtung worauf es schließlich ankommt ist sehr gut und was ich besonders loben möchte ist die Möglichkeit das Ganze einfach aufzuschrauben und neue Akku Zellen (18650) einzusetzen. Das würde ich auch jedem empfehlen. Ich habe bisher viele günstige Produkte gekauft und kann aus Erfahrung sagen, dass meistens bei den Zellen gespart wird (merkt man auch daran, dass die Zellen kaum was wiegen). Wer auch das volle Potenzial der Leuchte (Kapazität, Langlebigkeit) ausschöpfen möchtet sollte 2 namhafte 18650 Zellen kaufen bei denen die angegebene Kapazität auch stimmt einsetzen. Meistens werden in günstigen Leuchten die Zellen verlötet daher ist dies in meinen Augen ein großer Pluspunkt. Wenn die Akkus nach Jahren etwas schwächeln, ist ein Austausch schnell erledigt. Wir verwenden diese Leuchte im 1. Modus, d.h. wenn es dunkel wird reagiert es auf Bewegungen und leuchtet auf. Bisher bin ich mit der Leuchte und ihrer Ausleuchtung sehr zufrieden. Im Alltag laufen wir grob geschätzt an die ca. 10-mal zur Hütte, sei es wegen Holz Werkzeug etc. Bisher hat uns die Leuchte nicht im Stich gelassen und hoffen, dass es lange dabei bleibt. Fazit: Für den Preis muss man Kompromisse eingehen auf der einen Seite bekommt man eine Solarleuchte mit einer sehr guten Ausleuchtung. Auch die Möglichkeit die Zellen auszutauschen ist vorbildlich. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Gesamtpaket auch wenn der Kunststoff nicht den besten Eindruck macht.

Lo compre para una azotea, pues el ahorro de luz es notable, ya que anteriormente con la luz que tenia se la dejaba encendida y el gasto para la comunidad era impresionante, de fácil instalación el foco leds proporciona una excelente iluminación, tiene tres modos, utilice el modo sensor: que Permanece apagado cuando no hay movimiento, luego se encendió automáticamente en cuanto se detecte movimiento. Comprobado su impermeabilización pues llevamos unos días de lluvia y perfecto, excelente producto de alta calidad, Recomendado.

La lampada solare è arrivata puntuale come un orologio svizzero: dopo appena un giorno lavorativo. E' molto più grande di altre lampade che avevo acquistato da 40 50 o 60 led. Le dimensioni di questa sono 30cm di lunghezza e 10,5 di altezza. Dispone di 3 modalità di funzionamento: 1 -spenta di giorno con accensione solo quando il sensore rileva un movimento, 2- accensione al crepuscolo con luce fioca, 3- accensione al crepuscolo con luce forte. Il selettore di funzione si trova nella parte posteriore quindi, è questo non è proprio il massimo, si deve impostare prima del montaggio altrimenti va rimossa la lampada dal suo alloggiamento. Il tasto di impostazione della funzione è rivestito da una guaina in plastica per impedire l'ingresso di acqua all'interno. Ora veniamo al dunque: lasciata in carica per circa un giorno, la lampada fa una luce eccezionale; i suoi 102 led si fanno veramente sentire. Io l'ho usata per illuminare il mio cortile di casa. Dall'altezza di circa 3 metri riesce ad illuminare fino ad una distanza di 15mt! Sulla durata della batteria per illuminare mi riservo di aspettare qualche settimana per dare un giudizio.
