i used this around my window a/c last year to stop stink bugs from crawling in. it did not work on its own. they were still getting in. sometimes they’d get stuck and die in the tape, but it wasn’t enough. this year, i layered it on top of caulk and expanding foam, and it seems to be holding up way better. i don’t wanna jinx it, but it’s july and so far no issues. fingers crossed it survives stink bug season. the functionality is exactly what i needed this time around. it seals tight and does what it’s supposed to. it has a clean appearance, not bulky or ugly. the glow is decent. bright white so it’s easy to see where it’s applied. the hold is strong and hasn’t peeled, even with heat and humidity. when i tested residue removal, it barely left anything behind. ease of removal is solid too, just peel slow and it comes off clean without tearing.

Purchased awhile ago, used some and placed in my tape box. Recently I went to use it and the adhesive broke away from the tape and stuck on the top layer of the tape. Still works for now, but not sure if it will stay attached? Seemed when I first used the tape it was fine, maybe 20% into the roll it flipped over. Maybe it was old, left over when I purchased, or something affected it, adhesive has also seeped out the side of the roll, making it stick to everything. It is strong tape, need scissors or knife to cut, ripping causes tears length ways in the tape.

Good tape. I bought the white so I could “fix” my husband’s bumper. It covered the cracks and kept the bumper from falling apart. It has been surviving rain, sun & snow without any issues.

We all know that duct tape works. This white tape was so good. I used the white tape on white insulation. It worked great for my project. I highly recommend this. Great price, good adhesive, all-around-great product.

Look, you don't understand the complexities of my work. It's a very hands-on profession, and you need the right tools. I used to use the cheap stuff, but it always tore at the worst possible moment. Nothing ruins the flow of a creative session like a cheap, flimsy adhesive. ​But this 3M tape? This is the good stuff. The strong adhesive is no joke; it clings to everything with a dedication I can only admire. It's truly a bond that lasts a lifetime... and beyond. The water-resistant backing is a godsend. You never know when your... projects might encounter unexpected conditions. I've used it in damp basements, during sudden downpours, and even after a particularly vigorous hosing down. Never a single complaint. ​And the white color is a stroke of genius. It's so clean, so pure. It really makes a statement against... well, against things. It lets you get a sense of the... artistry involved. Plus, it's easy to write on. I can leave little notes, tally marks, or cryptic symbols for my future self. ​In summary, if you're serious about your craft, whatever it may be, this is the tape you need. It's a silent partner, a true accomplice. A masterpiece of engineering, really. I'm going to need to order a few more rolls. I've got so many ideas.

Great tape!! Does what it’s supposed to.

Where has this been all my life? It works so well. I have a giant air-conditioned with a big wide air output thingy. I was using all kinds of different tapes. Then I read the reviews for this and they were right on. It easily held the hose and perfectly filled the gaps. I love it!

Quite shiny and since I wanted it for writing on, might rub off. Also while it sticks to the plastic totes it seems it could peel off just as easily. I am used to duct tape I can use permanent felt pens on and it stays and particularly the tape itself sticks very well on plastic. Off course “ duct “ tape in the original form was never meant for either of these uses so maybe it deserves the 4 stars afterall. Probably sticks well to cardboard and maybe even to ductwork. In the meantime I paid the higher price for Gorilla tape and got what I needed. Now I have enough of this left for a duct tape wallet or 4.
