Great Face Sculpt - An Overall Well Done Night King
When McFarlane gets the faces/likenesses wrong they're terrible but when they get it right, they really hit it out of the park. This is a great Night King figure; far superior to the weird/dull facial expression of the "Dark Horse" Night King.Nicely done paint application, good articulation-can be put into a whole bunch of true-to-show poses (as demonstrated by previous reviewer's photo array). Figure stands fine on his own but comes with a little round base as well. Base has a small peg that sticks into a small hole on the right foot to keep him attached to it.*Good variety of articulation, especially for a 6-inch figure --Neck can turn his head side to side, can also tilt his head slightly back or forward-Waist can turn side to side-Arms have articulation at shoulders, elbows, and wrists-Legs have articulation at the hip, knee, and even a little bit on the ankle-the feet can be slightly moved to adjust for a solid stance, which is a very useful detail for figures like these.*As far as accessories, the figure comes with two weapons from the show -(1) That long sword-spear that he always has on his back(2) The ice spear that he used to kill ViserionThe weapons themselves are nicely done-well detailed and also solid; the ice/spear part of each one is nice & hefty, (not flimsy or bendable plastic that some other companies use).My only "complaint" is that his two weapons are a bit difficult to get into his hands at first-it's a tight fit, but it DOES fit and - as a fellow reviewer mentioned - it seems that they will loosen up/mold to the weapons over time. You just have to maneuver carefully so as to not destroy his fingers.Overall, a very successful character and must-have for any Game of Thrones diehard fan like me.

A little flawed, but a great figure overall!
Game of Thrones figures have been hit or miss for quite some time and this MacFarlane line is no different. However, I think they pretty much nailed it with the Night King. The face sculpt is dead on as is his costume. The paint looks like it was applied with care. All of his armor has been, it looks like dry brushed, with a light blue giving everything that frozen look. His weapons that he comes with are decent; the clear plastic for the blades give them the appearance that they are made of ice.The articulation is ok. His armor inhibits leg movement a little but his arms have a decent range of motion. A word of warning about his hands; it is extremely difficult to get the weapons to fit in his hands. The curling of his fingers is really tight so, when you it the weapons in his hands, take care that you don’t break them.He comes with a little stand; nothing flashy just a small black one that reads “Game of Thrones”. My Night King doesn’t stand well on his own without it as one leg seems a little longer than the other.Of all the figures released so far, this one is the best of the human figures, hands down. I highly recommend him for any fan of the show. I’ve got the Viserion too and he’s awesome as well. He looks great with the Night King even though he’s not in scale.

Fantastic Figureine, Incredibly Detailed, I Keep Wanting To Stab It With My Catspaw Dagger
I bought this a few months ago because like millions of others, I love the sinister evil look of the Night King. This is the first and only doll, excuse me, figurine I have ever bought. Pulled out the debit card because if the actual doll, damn, I mean figurine looked half as good as the pics, I would be a happy camper. When it arrived I marveled at the craftsmanship that went into production of this "toy." (Yeah, I said toy. After all, it says on the package "12+" So that makes it a toy, doesn't it?)I see this is "temporarily unavailable." Too bad people, I got mine, that's all I care about. Anyway, I highly recommend you put this on your want list. Totally worth the effort to get this. Can't go wrong with realistic Night King stuff.P.S. I'm torn, do I take it out of the package or leave it be as a collectible. I'd rather enjoy it sitting on my desk, not hanging on the wall as pictured. That looks lame, the package hanging on the wall.

Amazing figure of the Night King
Of all of the wonderful characters on Game of Thrones, The Night King might be the coolest looking character of them all. McFarlane ailed it with The Night King!Short Review:- Looks great, full of detail- Accessories included are the 2 weapons he has used on GoT- Decent articulation- Hands are a bit stiff to get accessories in and out of, but seems like they will loosen up some over time- Can't be displayed setting due to his outfit- Has no problem standingBottom line this figure is amazing to look it and to have on display. As you can see in my pictures, he can be posed well on display. Winter is Here my friends and hope you all have a great day & enjoy Season 8.

GREAT LIKENESS! GREAT FIGURE!
This figure has a great likeness to the first actor to portray the Night King, Richard Brake, in seasons 4 and 5. The sculpt has a lot of detail and the paint application was done very nicely as well.Packaging is a standard clamshell design which has to be opened by cutting it.Posing options are limited, but the Night King was best known for standing and staring anyway. The weapons included are easy enough to insert into his handsOverall, this is a very nice figure from McFarlane.

At 20 bucks its worth the price.
Pros:+Decent price at 20 bucks+Scale is similar to my funko legacy figures+Good mobility+Updated mobility compared to past mcfarland figures+Impressive detail+Looks just like in tv+Includes a base for it to stand and has a hole to fit a peg in the foot (funko fogured dont have this)Cons:-Scale is a bit smaller than funko legacy-scale doesnt match other mcfarland figures-scale doesnt match neca figures-small inperfection on head, and torso is slightly off (look at pictures)-you cant really fit the weapons into the hands unless you really force them in but that could brake the hand.
