The XLR Dock Mk.2 has completely exceeded my expectations. The first thing you notice is how robust the chassis is; it feels like a tank on my desk and is clearly built to last. Audio-wise, the signal flow is completely clean, with zero loss or unwanted noise. The connectors offer a tight, secure fit with no wobble or loose connections. If you are looking for a reliable XLR dock for your studio, this Mk.2 upgrade is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Grabbed the Elgato XLR Dock MK.2, and it's exactly what I needed for my XLR mic. Plugged in my mic, and it works perfectly with my existing setup. Sound quality is clean and professional, super easy to use, and the build feels solid. Very pleased with the software too. Great addition to the desk, fast Amazon delivery.

Ich kann das natürlich nur in Kombination mit dem Stream Deck + bewerten und ich bin hellauf begeistert. Ich hatte vorher ein Hercules Stream 200 und war irgendwie nie so richtig happy. Schon direkt nach dem ersten Betrieb habe ich direkt gemerkt, dass das Elgato Dock viel mehr Druck, Details und Plastizität hervorbringt. Meine beyerdynamic tygr haben sich wie ganz andere, neue Kopfhörer angehört, das ist wirklich Wahnsinn. Die Integration mit der Elgato Wave ist zunächst etwas unintuitiv, aber danach funktioniert alles einwandfrei und ich muss nicht in den Systemeinstellungen rumspielen, wie das beim Hercules der Fall war. Lohnt sich über alle Maßen. Ich habe das Gerät im Angebot bei 110€ gekauft und finde den Preis auf jeden Fall gerechtfertigt.

Firstly to start off, Elgato asked me to do an honest review of this item. The device is very easy to set up, simply unscrew your old base of your Stream Deck + and then attach the XLR Dock, the connection to the USB-C port on the back of the deck itself is the connection point. It's nice and flush, but can be knocked out with force if you're too rough, though left alone, shouldn't cause any issues. You need to have Windows 11/Mac and download Wave Link 3 (free to download software) in order to use this device. There is no way around this. Once you get it all installed, you just need to set up Wave Link 3 to connect it to your system and your good to go. This section can take a long time if you're not too familiar with how it looks - and there is no way of transporting your old settings into this new version, so you will be starting from scratch with your audio, so make sure you set time aside for this. That said, it's straight forward enough, and there are plenty of guides online (some by Elgato too) for you to follow if you get stuck. The sound quality straight out of the box is great, and the settings in Wave Link 3 can be tinkered with enough to make you sound exactly how you want to sound. There are even pre-installed effects that can help you make your mic sound incredible. (I use an Elgato Wave DX Mic) So TLDR: Pros - Easy to setup, good quality, saves space and has some great sound settings preinstalled. Cons - Possible to knock the USB-C from the back, takes a long time to setup. Frankly the pros outweigh the cons here - the cons are very personal and in most instances won't be an issue at all. Overall - I love this, I'm still tinkering to make it perfect, but it's shaping up to be a really good device for my setup. It's saved me a lot of space on my desk by combining two devices into one, which is a HUGE win for me and the device itself, despite very light, is pretty robust. 5/5 for me.
