Little less real than anticipated
I like the sides of the wood with the “bark”, but the split side is a pretty bright orange. Also, the front bottom log is quite high and blocks most of the flame.

No more smoky room!
Our fireplace has a design defect, so every time we burned wood it would smoke. This is a perfect solution! Most people think they are real oak logs. In my opinion the split oak is the most realistic. The burn kit we bought really puts heat out as well! It smelled funky the first time we used it, but only then. LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!
