Rubbish compared with historic Darda Motor
This replacement motor was bought to re-engine a 1970s Darda Serie 10 Beach Buggy (with yellow motor). It has inadequate power to do 5 towered loops (tower only 3 elements tall). At same time I bought a new Audi R8 50373 (much lighter as in plastic not metal and longer with larger front overhang!) which did complete the same loops very satisfactorily. I swapped the new motors and the new red (ex R8) motor drove the Beach Buggy over the same course but not with the same speed (so will presumably get 'tired' much sooner) caused, I guess, by the greater vehicle weight. This Stop&Go motor worked very poorly, occasionally getting the R8 round the track but frequently failing to run at all and I was totally unable to make the bump start operate (hitting it with the Beach buggy after completing the course or with greater energy) either nothing happened or the R8 came to pieces and the clockwork spun out! Even a hand-held start often failed.Total rubbish compared with the historic (W. German) motors and extremly frustrating - nice idea but only if they can make the motor actually work and with adequate power. (Even the new Red motor is 'poor' compared with the historic (W. German) motors though 'adequate' if powering the lighter modern car!)

These dont work with the old 1980s card
Bought these to run in my old Knightrider, beach buggy and f1 gp metal 1980s darda cars. They didnt work, the cars wouldnt move at all. Complete waste of money, I bought 3 at a cost of £36. It says on the packet that they work with all Darda cars. Not true.

Disappointing
These Darda motors are easy to fit, but this one doesn't seem to perform well.
