3 Step Folding Ladder

I can’t believe this ladder can be bought for this price. This thing is very well built. Notice the ladder is pitched as it should be when in use. It is made to support this angle with no other hardware. The optimum install is to a floor or platform. I am going to have to get creative to mount it on our boat but it is so well made I am going to find a way to make it work. Best value in any product I have bought in a long time.

Needs modified to be mounted on a transom, plus it needs standoffs to not pinch fingers. See pictures. I ended up using 2" PVC to stand this off the transom at an angle. I had to angle grind the bumpouts and reverse the mounting brackets, but it wasn't difficult.

Like other reviewers, making the climb back into the boat after going for a swim easier was the objective in this purchase. This has been mounted on a Boston Whaler Montauk 17 to replace a single step that came with the boat. To clear stern mounted hardware, this ladder had to be mounted out a little further than the prior one but there was still plenty of platform surface to bolt into. I used existing bolts to install and plan to replace those with new, longer bolts and bigger washers. I am close to 180 lb and can stand on the ladder on land, bounce robustly and it feels very sturdy. Unless the finish and performance fail in the water, I have found this ladder to be well built and a very good solution to my needs.

It looks good, price is right, size is standard but the base could be a little longer. I had to make new holes. It can’t receive 5 stars because there are no instructions to install and the screws sent with the ladder are useless. They will work only on wood. If you put that on the hull, you will damage your boat for sure. It will never hold the weight. You need new fasteners, big washers to go under and nuts. Then you will have it installed and working properly.

Bought this for a used pontoon. It was easy to install and was immediately ready for use. Worked great & tucks into the mount bracket so it is secured after pulling it out of the water. My friend has a Bennington boat & he said they use the same looking product on his boat. I would recommend.

Ladder seems like good quality and perfect size for boats with a smaller transom.

La escalera es retráctil pero no es automática hay que levantarla, solo tiene un elástico el cual hace que regrese, pensé tendría resortes internos. Por lo demás esta bien y es bonita, es como esta en la imagen, quitas el elástico y caen los tres peldaños. aproximadamente 90 cms.
